Happy Ending Series

Jeff Satur has been making a splash with the launch of his new project “Happy Ending Series”. Produced by his own agency, Studio on Saturn, the show has become the talk of the town. Recently they unveiled the official poster with character introduction. Jeff will be starring alongside his onscreen partner Barcode Tinnasit, Mike Angelo, and Jorin Khuin. Furthermore, there is a considerable amount of speculation surrounding Mike Angelo’s new venture “Vamp The Series” which started its promotions alongside “Happy Ending Series”. We still don’t have many updates about the latter though.

JBL Actors on the Cover of Dazed Korea

Dazed Korea celebrates Pride Month with featuring four Japanese actors who recently starred in popular BL works. The actors gracing the June issue are Sato Yusuke (“Mr Unlucky Has No Choice But To Kiss”), Nomura Kota (“Perfect Propose”), Oku Tomoya (“Minato’s Laundromat”) and Seto Toshiki (“Senpai This Can’t Be Love” & “The End of The World with You”).

4 Minutes

The official poster for the most anticipated release in 2024 is out. After producing global hits like “KinnPorsche the Series” & “Dead Friend Forever”, Be on Cloud’s upcoming original work “4 Minutes” is set to premiere on 26th July. Penned by popular author Sammon Scene, the show stars Bible Wichapas opposite his new onscreen partner, Jes Jespipat & will have 10 episodes.

Synopsis-

Great is a university student from the Business Administrative Faculty and the son of a wealthy business owner. Out of the blue, he gains the supernatural power to see four minutes into the future. This power leads him to alter the results of many events. One day, Great meets Tyme, a resident surgeon. The two try to get to know each other and their relationship begins to grow.

First Note of Love

Promotions are in full spring for Gagaoolala’s upcoming Original “First Note of Love”. The show is a musical themed romance starring Charles Tu (HIStory4: Close to You) & Michael Chang (My Tooth Your Love) in lead roles.

Synopsis-

Neil is a singer-songwriter who has recently returned to Taiwan. Both talented and charming, he has everything he needs to become a professional singer, except one thing––the nerves to step onto a big stage. In an effort to get over his stage fright, Neil decides to start as a street performer to eventually work his way up. Hai is a loyal but timid fan of Neil’s. One late night, after seeing Neil’s performance, Hai gets on the last bus of the day and is surprised to see Neil get on, too. The bus brakes suddenly, and Hai finds himself in Neil’s arms. When Neil gets off the bus, Hai sees his guitar pick on the floor. And so, Hai and Neil’s lives cross paths as they begin to compose a musical movement of love.

The Boyfriend

Netflix dropped the visuals and official trailer for “The Boyfriend”, Japan’s first same-sex romance reality series, that celebrates love in all its forms. Starting July 9, viewers can tune in every Tuesday to enjoy a total of 10 episodes in four weekly installments. Hosted by an eclectic mix of personalities, including MEGUMI, Chiaki Horan, Thelma Aoyama, drag queen Durian Lollobrigida and Yoshimi Tokui, the show promises to deliver a rollercoaster of emotions.

Synopsis-

Located by the sea, the “Green Room” beach house sets the stage for nine men to find love. For a month, they live together and take turns working shifts at a peppermint green coffee truck, forging deep friendships and learning about themselves along the way.

Official poster and trailer released for the upcoming office romance “SunsetxVibes”. Starring Mos Panuwat & Bank Mondop in lead roles alongside JJ Rathasat & Fong Bovorn, Lookkaew Kamollak & Anda Anunta, the show is set to premiere on June 15th, Uncut only on iQIYI.

Freen Becky’s upcoming Sci-fi film “URANUS 2324” unveils official teaser ahead of its release on 4th July. Another anticipated release in 2024, this is Rebecca Patricia & Freen Sarocha’s second project together after the highly successful adaptation “Gap The Series”.

Lee Je-hoon Expresses Interest in Queer Roles

In a recently held press conference to promote his new movie ‘Escape’ with co-star Koo Kyo-hwan, Je-hoon expressed interest in working on another project with Kyo-hwan as his romantic interest. His latest works “Taxi Driver” & “Chief Detective 1958” were well-received. Meanwhile, Koo Kyo Hwan was recently seen in the sequel of the bromance drama “D.P” and his onscreen chemistry with co-star Jung Hae In was much appreciated. Previously, Lee Je Hoon has also starred in the gay short film “Just Friends?” with fellow actor and close friend, Yeon Woo-jin.

Khemjira The Series

Mandee Work releases official poster & trailer for their new, revamped project “Khemjira The Series. Adapted from the novel “Khemjira Will Survive” (เขมจิราต้องรอด) by Cali (คาลิ), the adaptation titled “Spirit Reborn” was announced last year with Chap Suppacheep and Peipei Krit as the leading cast. Recently retitled “Khemjira The Series”, the show now stars Namping Napatsakorn and Keng Harit as the main leads.

Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai

MBS’ Tunku Shower slot will next feature a Japanese GL “Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai” (Ayaka-chan wa Hiroko-senpai ni Koishiteru). Starring Kato Shiho and Mori Kanna in lead roles, this work, is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Sal Jiang, an office GL comedy about a junior who never gives up and a senior who never lets down.

Synopsis-

The main character, Ayaka Usada (Kato), loves Hiroko Kano (Mori), who works at the same workplace. However, despite her appeals every day, she is not accepted. On the other hand, Hiroko, whom everyone admires, is actually quite fond of women and is thrilled by Ayaka’s aggressive appeal. The misunderstanding between the two, who believe each other to be straight, leads to further misunderstandings.

☆ Ayaka-chan (Ayaka Usada)- Fumiho Kato

A junior who never gives up. He is madly in love with Hiroko, and although she attacks him at every opportunity, it doesn’t resonate with Hiroko at all. Hiroko actually has a crush on Ayaka, and her strong attacks always sway her feelings, but Ayaka doesn’t notice this. Although she is popular with male employees, everything about her clothes and hairstyle are done to get Hiroko’s attention. Generation Z has a strong competitive spirit and an easy-going personality.

☆ Hiroko Senpai (Hiroko Kano)- Kanna Mori

She is a senior who will never be let down. She is a career woman who is good at her job and is admired by both her boss and her juniors. She has a trauma from her past, and she believes that she should live in hiding in society, but she is actually quite fond of women and has been involved in numerous scandals in the past. She misunderstands that everything about Ayaka is just her “innocent straight” behavior, and she vows that she will never be swayed by Ayaka’s words or actions.
