Fresh BL/GL Pairings That Are Slowly Making Their Mark- Edition III

We are delivering elegance and nuances that manifest the fan service in the BL/GL world. The list keeps growing with more pairings being added to the lot. The aesthetics are actually the major cause in most cases coupled with the their natural chemistry and the characters they embody. There are very few pairings that could make the mark and we are detailing their accomplishments!

Lee Long Shi & Frank Thanatsaran

After having successfully paired opposite Drake Laedeke in “‘Cause You’re My Boy” and “2gether The Series”, Frank Thanatsaran left homestead GMMTV in 2021. Returning to the BL niche in 2022, he was paired opposite Lee Long Shi in “Love Syndrome III”. Their spontaneous energy was much appreciated even though the show wasn’t well received. Next, they were paired in the romcom “Crazy Handsome Rich” because of their growing popularity. Their third project together “OMG! Vampire” is currently making waves and their fanbase keeps increasing.

Engfa Waraha & Charlotte Austin

In 2022, both Engfa and Charlotte took part in the Miss Grand Thailand 2022 beauty contest. Engfa won the national contest of Miss Grand Thailand 2022 as the representative of the capital city Bangkok and represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022 held in Indonesia to win the title. Since the contest, Charlotte has been popularly paired by fans with Engfa. Their popularity lead them to debut roles in the romantic miniseries, “Show Me Love”. Popular by their couple name “Englot”, their latest miniseries “Love Bully” premiered to high expectations on 7th June. Next they will be working on TV Thunder’s crime thriller “Petrichor”.

Zee Pruk & NuNew Chawarin

Zee Pruk made his big acting debut with “Why R U?” where he was paired with Saint Suppapong. Their explosive fans won fans and their chemistry was well celebrated. Despite the popularity they enjoyed, the pairing didn’t last for long. Zee Pruk joined Domunti TV in 2018. In 2022, he was paired opposite rookie actor Nunew Chawarin in the sensuous adaptation “Cutie Pie The Series”. They established a niche audience base which were enamored with their natural chemistry. Since then, it has been upward journey for this couple who are rumored to be in a relationship.

Max Kornthas & Natasitt Uareksit

Max & Natasit have been together since they made their debut as an onscreen couple in 2020 “Why R U?”. Though they didn’t have a meatier role in the show, their presence made a mark. Next they were paired in “Y-Destiny” followed by “Close Friend”. Their popularity grew when they were yet again paired in “Cutie Pie”. Their fanbase grew and there were catcalls for the pairing them in main lead roles. They were paired as a couple in the anthology “War of Y”, which landed them the main lead role in “Naughty Babe”. After successfully starring in so many shows, they were cast in the main leads in the fantasy romance “Two Worlds”. They are notably one of the longest standing couples in the BL industry.

Tutor Koraphat & Yim Pharinyakorn

Domunti Boys really sail together, after making their debut in “Cutie Pie”, Tutor & Yim were paired in supporting roles in “Bed Friend”. They are also starred in the miniseries “Crush on You”, followed by “Naughty Babe”. Their growing popularity led them to their first main lead in “The Middleman’s Love”. Their natural chemistry was applauded which landed them their next project “Battle of the Writers”. One of the most handsome couples in the industry, Tutor & Yim sure have a long way to go!

Daou Pittaya & Offroad Kantapon

Both Daou & Offroad belong to the Thai boy group LAZ1 signed under Channel One31. As an actor, Offroad is signed under Atime26 and made his acting debut in supporting roles in BL dramas “Rak Diao” & “Our Days”. Avid fans of Daou & Offroad have been shipping them forever which landed them the main lead role in “Love in Translation”. As against their idol image, Daou & Offroad’s mature portrayals was applauded which won them their next project “Century of Love”. Both stars are extremely popular as idols and their brand value has only increased since they were paired as an onscreen couple.

Mos Panuwat & Bank Mondop

Known by his stage name ISBANKY, Bank Mondop is a Thai-American-French singer, actor and model managed by Star Hunter Entertainment. He made his acting debut in the first two seasons of Gen Y Series. He didn’t make a mark until he was paired opposite rookie actor, Mos Panuwat in “Big Dragon”. The show received positive reviews and their popularity skyrocketed. Rumors surrounding their relationship status further catapulted their celebrity status as an onscreen couple. They were next paired in the travelogue “Y Journey: Stay Like a Local”. Their upcoming adaptation “SunsetxVibes” is already making waves and is one of the most anticipated releases this year.

Boss Chaikamon & Noeul Nuttarat

Making their debut in Mame’s adaptation “Love in the Air”, both Boss & Noeul became household names with their seasoned portrayals of “Opposites Attract”. Since then, they have been featured on the covers of quite a few magazines, while they await the production of their next adaptation “The Boy Next World”. Their natural chemistry just adds to their charm and online popularity.

Fort Thitipong & Peat Wasuthorn

Another popular pairing in making from the Me Mindy camp. First paired together in the anthology “Love in the Air”, Fort & Pear quickly became famous because of their candid interactions offscreen. As their popularity grew, they established an avid fan base, which landed them their second major project “Love Sea”. Another anticipated release this year, everyone is eagerly awaiting their return to the silver screen.

Meen Nichakoon & Ping Krittanun

Meen was first paired opposite Est Supha in “Love by Chance 2: A Chance to Love”. Despite portraying a negative role, Meen’s onscreen chemistry was Est was commendable. He completely revamped his image of a bad boy when he debuted in the main lead role opposite Ping Krittanun in “Ai Long Nhai”. The show received negative ratings but the pairing made their presence known and were recently paired in the Korean webtoon adaptation “My Dear Gangster Oppa”. Meen & Ping will also be starring in the upcoming sports themed BL “The Rebound”. Definitely a couple on the rise!
