Unassumingly, the weekend didn’t bring much news about upcoming shows. As the Pride Month comes to a joyful end, the momentum seems to be down. That doesn’t mean, we are slacking at our job; neither are the social media outlets who are campaigning their new shows gearing up for release. All in all, this was an eventful month!

This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans & Affair Series

CHANGE2561’s upcoming BL/GL dramas “This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans & “Affair Series’ recently held their blessing ceremony. Adapted from the web novel “No Beans and Love Me More” (รักนี้ไม่มีถั่วฝักยาว) by Ninepinta (นายพินต้า), the show stars Pon Thanapon & Sailub Hemmawich. Adapted from the novel “Affair” (AFFAIR : รักเล่นกล) by Chao Planoy (เจ้าปลาน้อย), the show stars Sonya Saranphat & Lookmhee Punyapat. CHANGE2561 has also dropped the official trailer for “This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans”, which is set to premiere on 5th July.

Synopsis-

Soft and bubbly office lady Ayaka is madly in love with her senior at work, Hiroko! Two lovestruck coworkers who both think the other is straight totally crush on each other.

Gagaoolala’s upcoming musical themed Taiwanese BL “First Note Of Love” recently held its blessing ceremony. Starring Charles Tu & Michael Chang as leads alongside Jame Kasama & Liu Min Ting as secondary couple.

Sparks Camp Season Two

Sparks Camp S2 premieres this June 26. Catch it every Wednesday, 8 PM on Black Sheep’s YT channel. Directed by Theodore Boborol and hosted by Miss Mela Habijan, the contestants include Allan Pangilinan, Ejay Dimayacyac, Kyle Adlawan, Martin Chua, Miggy Ruallo, Pipoy Oreiro, Universe Ramos & Zuher Bautista.

Bright Time

MGTV’s youth drama “Bright Time”, starring Hao Fushen, Bian Cheng, Huang Zixing, Bian Tianyang, and more, releases new trailer. This is Hao Fushen’s second time acting in a bromance drama after “Hikaru no Go”.

Synopsis-

Breaking the traditional youth drama model, it is a campus story focusing on friendship, family love, and inspiration. The plot focuses on a 17-year-old protagonist and shows the audience the growth process of a group of young people living their campus life.

Monster Next Door

WeTV Original “Monster Next Door” has wrapped up filming. Adapted from the novel “Godzilla Next Door” (พี่เขาบุกโลกของผม) by Jiwinil, the show stars Big Thanakorn & Park Anantadej as main leads.

Synopsis-

Cute introvert Diewdai likes living in his ultra private world, hiding away in his apartment. His best friend is a turtle called Khun Chai. Diew’s life of peace, however, is destroyed when God—an extroverted senior from another faculty—moves in next door. God throws loud daily parties. Diew does his best to endure it—he likes this building—but one night he can’t take it any longer. He slams his door shut to let God know he has a neighbour. After having been there a month, God feels bad and—unsure how to apologise—addresses him from the balcony. Diew responds unconcernedly and, going back and forth, the pair’s talking turns to friendship, with the caveat that they mustn’t meet face-to-face, Diew insists.

IQIYI x Tencent x Linmon Pictures upcoming suspense/mystery drama “Under the Skin 2” releases new poster, teaser video and visual stills. Starring Tan Jianci & Jin Shijia in lead roles alongside Zhang Bojia, Zhu Jiaqi, Lu Yanqi, Qin Hailu & Fang Zibin who will be reprising their roles from Season One.

I Hear The Sunspot

Official trailer released for “I Hear The Sunspot”. TV Tokyo in collaboration with Drama Next is adapting the popular manga. Based on Fumino Yuki’s original work, ‘Hidamari Ga Kikoeru’ (I Hear the Sunspot), and its sequel, “I Hear the Sunspot: Theory of Happiness”, the show is set to premiere on 26th June. Nakazawa Motoki and Kobayashi Toranosuke will be starring in the lead roles of Sugihara Kohei and Sagawa Taiich.

Bank Chanwut & Beer Rapeewish from “Beyond the Star Series” have been introduced as the new cast members of the upcoming adaptation “Allure Of The Siren The Series”. Their roles were not a part of the original novel. So what is their connection to the story? Or to each other?

Starring fan favorite couple Gun Atthaphan & Off Jumpol in the lead roles, “The Trainee Series” is set to premiere on 30th June.

Synopsis-

Passionate student Ryan gets an internship as an assistant director where he meets Jane, an AD with a unique ability to extinguish the fires of people’s passion. Ryan’s suffering is vented to this year’s fellow trainees, including a couple consisting of account executive Bamee and editor Teh, Pah in the art department, and Pie in production. Revenge gets ripped.

From A24 Films, the sapphic romance”Love Lies Bleeding” begins streaming July 19 exclusively on Max. Starring Anna Baryshnikov & Kristen Stewart as main leads.

Synopsis-

Lou is a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder who’s heading to Las Vegas to pursue her dream. Their love soon leads to violence as they get pulled deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.

WeTV releases official poster and new visuals for their upcoming bromance, Ya She. Adapted from the novel series “Ya She” (哑舍) by Xuan Se (玄色), the show stars Gao Wei Guang & Leon Leong. Scheduled to release in 2025, the show will have 30 episodes with 45 mins.

Synopsis-

It tells the story of Bi Zhi, an antique shop owner from the future, and Su Bei Lu, a pet doctor living in modern times, who form a partnership and embark on a time journey to retrieve antiques. The customs, customs and ups and downs of life in different periods were narrated between the two of them. In the process, they gained a friendship that spanned time and space, and finally faced their respective lives with optimism.

Chimon Wachirawit Withdraws from “Perfect10 Liners”

In a statement issued on his official X account, Chimon Wachirawit has disclosed details related to his withdrawal from the upcoming adaptation “Perfect10 Liners”.

Earlier in May, Chimon was supposed to appear in a fan meeting with his onscreen partner, Perth Thanapon. Without revealing many details, GMMTV only announced that Chimon won’t be attending the fan meeting because of health issues.

In the midst of speculations, Chimon took to social media to explain that he is suffering from depression and as such, would be withdrawing from his upcoming project until he fully recovers.

Few months back, GMMTV actor Pawin Thanik was involved in a controversy with his ex-girlfriend and suspended from work. As such, his onscreen partner Marc Natarit was paired with Poon Mitpakdee. Although fans were apprehensive about this new pairing, Marc & Poon have won over fans with their adorable chemistry.

With Chimon’s withdrawal, will Perth be paired opposite a new actor? Will the new pairing win hearts as well?

Spare Me Your Mercy

Author Sammon Scene’s next adaptation “Spare Me Your Mercy” is in production stage. With her Original work “4 Minutes” gearing up for release, Sammon tweeted about the same. Actor Lee Thanapob confirmed her post with pictures of the script.
