Mr. Mitsuya’s Planned Feeding
Adapted from Matsumoto Ayaka’s manga of the same name, “Mr. Mitsuya’s Planned Feeding” stars Masayoshi Yamasaki and Taisei Sakai in lead roles. Katsumi Nojiri (What Did You Eat Yesterday?) is directing the series, with Nami Kikkawa acting as the scriptwriter. Tomohide Harada will be composing the music. Yamazaki is also performing the series’ opening theme song, this is his first role in a live-action series in 26 years. Set to premiere on July 25 on MBS Drama Phil timeslot.
Synopsis-
The “human gourmet love story” begins when Tomoya Ishida, a rookie editor at a woman’s magazine who is still unsure of his job environment, is asked by a more experienced colleague to take charge of a regular food column written by an old man named Ayumu Mitsuya. Ishida decides to pay Mitsuya a visit, and upon meeting Mitsuya, sees him as a charming, witty gentleman with a cute side, and who can cook a delicious dish. Ishida’s interactions with Mitsuya begins to make the younger editor more comfortable in his job, and he begins to see Mitsuya not just as a work partner, but as something else entirely.

Taking advantage of the current trend which seems to be in their favor, TV Thunder has begun the promotions for their upcoming thriller “Petrichor The Series”. Adapted from the webnovel “Petrichor — Rust in the Rain” (หยดฝนกลิ่นสนิม) by SixTeenSeven, an author duo comprised of DobbyMANU7 and hitokage, this is Englot’s third project together. Engfa will be starring as Lieutenant Tul while Charlotte will portray the role of Dr. Cherran, a forensic doctor.
Synopsis-
The first field deployment of Lieutenant Tul, a rookie officer assigned to the Criminal Investigation Department, unexpectedly brings her face-to-face with Dr. Cherran, a physician from the Institute of Forensic Sciences. Their differing work attitudes create a considerable gap between them, making it challenging to find common ground. Amidst the crime scenes reflecting societal issues, Detective Tul also contends with pressures from a working system favouring influential groups. She navigates the interference aimed at protecting allies and the societal currents that could influence the case’s outcome. At least Tul’s integrity remains intact amidst these challenges. When she teams up with forensic doctor Cherran, they methodically analyze the evidence left at crime scenes, leading them closer to identifying the perpetrators in each case. Angel’s in America
Stunning first look visuals released for the theater adaptation of Tony Kirshner’s “Angel’s in America”. Actor Yoo Seung-ho will be making his theater debut in “Angels in America,” portraying the lead role of Prior Walter.
Set in 1980s America, “Angels in America” delves into the lives of marginalized individuals affected by race, politics, religion and sexual orientation.
The play, which has been highly acclaimed since its premiere in 1991, exposes the intense lives of those living with suppressed desires in a society rife with hatred and prejudice.
Yoo’s character is a terminally ill gay man who struggles with his illness and the end of his relationship, navigating a tumultuous life filled with visions and reality as he fights to maintain love.
To authentically portray this complex character, who maintains grace and wit despite societal norms and internal guilt, Yoo will undergo a bold transformation, both internally and externally.
Lee TaeVin who recently became popular for acting in the BL drama “Love For Love’s Sake” will be playing his same-sex lover, Louise Ironson.
“Angels in America” will be performed from Aug. 6 to Sept. 28 at LG Arts Center Seoul.

Zenze Entertainment unveiled the main leads for their upcoming Thai GL “Mate The Series”. Oaey Ponchanok and Grace Budsarin will be playing the main couple, Genlong and Aoey. The story revolves around two girls sharing the same apartment.
Elite Season Eight
Netflix has dropped the sizzling trailer for finale season of their Spanish murder mystery “Elite”. Premiering on 26th July, the eighth season will feature the return of original cast member Mina el Hammani, who played Nadia during the show’s first three seasons. Mina’s onscreen brother Omar Ayuso, who portrayed Omar from Seasons 1-5, reprised his role in the seventh season and will be returning for the 8th season as well.
