The Love Matter

The Youth

Zhang Jingyi & # Zhao Jinmai to star in a new Chinese GL adaptation “她的山她的海”. Based on GL novel “The Youth” (Her Mountain Her Sea) by Fu Hua. Filming to start in November.

The Time of Fever

The drama version of “The Time Of Fever” will be released simultaneously on domestic and international OTT on September 12th. It consists of 6 episodes with 20 minutes runtime each. The show will focus on the untold story of Ho-tae and Dong-hee.

The Salmon Series

Thai GL author Salmon Writing has revealed the trio books in “The Salmon Series” [“The Swan”, “The Tiger” and “The Dragon”] will be adapted into live-action series. The author has also expressed her desire to see “The Secret of Us” main leads Lingling Sirilak & Orm Kornnaphat portraying the lead roles in one of the novels.

“Salmon The Series” is a trilogy that focuses on the romance of the three siblings in the “Plerngmangkon Family” using three distinguished characters and three different vibes. “The Dragon” is a love story that starts with an arranged marriage, and protection that ultimately leads to love. “The Tiger” is a story about two rival families followed by quick-witted battles and thrilling action scenes. And lastly, “The Swan” is a story about a complicated background and a necessary vengeance.

Battle of the Writers

TutorYim’s upcoming adaptation “Battle Of The Writers” is set to premiere on 29th July. Based on the web novel “The Great Battle of Games” (游戏大作战) by Ping Guo Shu Shu Shu (苹果树树树), the show stars Tutor Koraphat and Yim Pharinyakorn as the lead couple, Chan & Ob-un. Side couples include Mark Sorntast (Pie) & Gems Jassada (Ozone), Willi Arawill (Sin) & Focus Poonyavee (Jingjang).

Synopsis-

Aob-Oon and Shou are both authors. They don’t get along because of a plagiarism incident that happened in the past. Chaos ensues when the two are asked to collaborate and write a danmei novel together.

The Hell Guard

Harikarn Solution releases official pilot for their upcoming show “The Hell Guard”. Adapted from the web novel “Hey! Don’t Mess With My Heart” (เฮ้! ยูอย่ามาแหย็ม) by TJ Tommys, the show stars Chaaim Alongkorn (Chains Of Heart) & Few Vayu in lead roles. The project was announced last year and there were no further updates, until the pilot was released!

Interview with the Vampire Season Three

AMC has released an intriguing snippet featuring the sassy rockstar Lestat. The teaser features Lestat in a sultry costume and makeup as he gets ready for an interview with new fledgling Daniel Molloy guiding him off-camera. As announced previously, the new season will focus on Lestat (Sam Reid) starting a band and going on tour. Set to premiere on AMC and AMC+.

Heartstopper Season Three

Netflix has dropped an adorable snippet featuring Darragh Hand as Michael Holden. The teaser features him alongside Tori Spring (Jenny Walser), Charlie’s sister. Apart from appearing in the Heartstopper graphic novels, Michael, along with Tori is one of the main characters of in Alice Oseman’s ever novel, ‘Solitaire’. Oseman describes Michael as a quirky, eccentric optimist with a sunshine disposition.

Jack and Joker

YinWar’s upcoming romcom “Jack and Joker” had a worship ceremony, with the premiere date set to September. Starring Yin Anan and War Wanarat in lead roles, the show will be released on Ch3 and iQIYI. Supporting cast includes Bonz Nadol, Prom Ratchapat & Mark Siwat Jumlongkul.

Synopsis-

Joker leads a double life. Boastful and talented in conversation, he is secretly a notorious thief wanted by the police. Using his exceptional disguise skills, Joker robs wealthy oppressors and redistributes their riches to aid struggling villagers. On the other side is Jack, a former Taekwondo black belt turned debt collector. With a calm and quiet demeanor, Jack instills fear in those he encounters. Despite his intimidating presence, he is a reasonable man who believes in solving problems without force and holds the conviction that “the strength one possesses should be used only to protect the weak.”

My Golden Blood

Work has begun on the upcoming supernatural romance series “My Golden Blood”. Directed by Ark Saroj, the show stars Joss Way-Ar and Gawin Caskey in a fresh combination. Both actors had their fitting session today.
