As we unwind after a long weekend, there are exciting news updates to share. The BL/GL was literally on fire, with fresh inputs from each quarter. The Asian BL industry is thriving, and we are getting a daily dose of new and intriguing storylines, coupled with a vastly innovative casting.

My Stubborn

M Flow Entertainment have announced their next project “My Stubborn”. Adapted from the novel “Nai Hia Bok Mai Chop Dek” (ไหนเฮียบอกไม่ชอบเด็ก) by Nang Sao Phop (นางสาวผอบ), the show stars Boat Yongyut and Oat Pasakorn (Sorn & Jun) alongside Yoon Phusanu and Punn Chirathanaphat (Hia Tia & Champ). Michelle Behrmann & Poy Eyra have been finalized as the GL pairing and will be playing the roles of Penny & June.

Heartstopper Season Three

Netflix has unveiled the official poster and a sweet snippet for its upcoming teenage romance”Heartstopper Season 3″. Starring Kit Connor & Joe Locke alongside Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell & Tobie Donovan, the show is set to premiere on 3rd October. We are literally counting down the days to the premiere!

Only You The Series

Currently, the most popular couple in the Thai GL industry, LingOrm announced their next project at their fan meeting held last week. Since then, the social media account for the show titled “Only You The Series” has been in a frenzy, uploading scintillating stills of the lead pair, Lingling Sirilak & Orm Kornnaphat. Orm will be playing idol, Ira while Lingling will be playing her bodyguard, Tawan.

O2 Production releases official and character posters for their upcoming project “Teenager Judge”. Starring Nguyen Ba Vinh and Nguyen Vo Minh Hien, the show is set to premiere on September 28.

Smells Like Green Spirit

Fresh stills released for MBS’s upcoming adaptation “Smells Like Green Spirit”. Based on Saburō Nagai’s “Smells Like Green Spirit” manga, the show stars Araki Towa, Sono Shunta, Fujimoto Kodai & Abe Alan. Set to premiere on September 19.

Synopsis-

Mishima, a student living in a remote countryside, was being bullied by the boys in his class. The reason? Because Mishima “seemed gay.” In reality, Mishima did like men, but he had no way to resist, and secretly dressing up as a woman was his only solace.

One day, as Mishima was enjoying his usual alone time on the rooftop, he happened to witness Kirino, the leader of the bullying group, holding the lipstick Mishima thought he had lost. Kirino was secretly trying to apply the lipstick that Mishima had used to his own lips. A youth story that boys who sought a place where they could be their ‘true selves’ somewhere in this world want to convey the most right now.

Official poster released for upcoming Thai GL movie “My Ex’s Wedding”. Starring Lux Sulax (Jay), Prom Kanchanisara (Natty), Mulan Sekporn (Grace) and Anji Arisa (B), the movie is scheduled to release in theatres on 14th Nov.

Official poster and character visuals released for Kongthup Production’s first Thai GL “Apple My Love The Series”. Based on the novel “Apple” (Apple : ถึงเธอ…ผู้เป็นที่รัก) by Chao Planoy (เจ้าปลาน้อย), the show stars Ormsin Supitcha & Folk Sutima in lead roles.

Impression of Youth

Fresh posters released for the #TaiwaneseBL “Impression Of Youth”. Starring Jian Zhenting, Xu Moujun, Wen Weideng, and Zhu Yumou, the show is an original script which depicts the relationship between a student and a teacher.

Fragrance of the First Flower Season Two

Gagaoolala has released the official posters for “Fragrance of the First Flower Season Two” and announced that the show is set to premiere in 2025. Starring Zai Zai Lin & Lyan Cheng who will reprising their roles from Season One.

Synopsis–

Yi Min left her ex-husband to start a new life with Ting Ting. Having little experience with girls’ love, Yi Min shows her care for Ting Ting in an awkward but lovely way. Yi Min joins Ting Ting’s friends’ party, where she meets Nong, who helps them find an apartment and becomes their neighbor. As Yi Min feels delighted to make a new friend, it turns out Nong is Ting Ting’s ex-girlfriend and used to be hostile to Yi Min. Through Nong’s flashback, we see Ting Ting never let go of Yi Min, resulting in many difficulties in her previous relationships.
