Last week was rather dull and slow paced, with quite a few production houses dropping teaser or trailers. While we welcomed the lazy hours, it might be the calm before the storm.
FRT Entertainment’s 2025 Lineup
Earlier last week, FRT Entertainment dropped a short teaser announcing their new projects for 2025- 2 GLs and a BL.
“Rearrange Series” stars Marc Thanat and Flute Chinnapat as main leads. The story follows a group of friends who form a five-member band to win the competition “Star of Band”. While relationships are formed and tested, the group faces a new twist- someone can time travel.
“Buy My Boss” is adapted from the web novel “Buy My Boss” (Buy My Boss ฉันซื้อเจ้านายกิน) by FoxyFox and stars Aom-Punyawee Jungcharoen (from the pop idol group CGM48) and Mimi Ruethaiphat as main leads.
Synopsis-
Recent graduate Manfan is facing numerous problems: her family’s bankrupt; she’s been dumped; everything’s gone downhill, dragged down to the abyss. Wanting nothing more than some release, she hires an enchanting escort named Araya who reassures her that good things are coming. Who would’ve have thought that later, when she would take on and important job and meet her boss Issara, she would come to learn that Araya and Issara are one and the same?
“Shades” is the second GL project that was unveiled. It is an intense story from an all-girls school. It stars the new couple Pla Kewalin Udomaksorn and Whawha Pimmada alongside Niky Warinrat (and a former BNK48 idol).

Heartbreak High Season Three
Netflix released a first look visual for the final season of “Heartbreak High Season Three” which is set to premiere in 2025. The upcoming season finale cast includes regulars Ayesha Madon as Amerie Wadia, Asher Yasbincek as Harper McLean, James Majoos as Darren Rivers, Chloé Hayden as Quinni Gallagher-Jones, Will McDonald as Douglas ‘Cas$h’ Piggott reprising their roles. Season Two ended on a cliffhanger after their school was set on fire and Malakai left for Switzerland.

“The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter” Anime Adaptation
Publishing house Enterbrain has announced the anime adaptation for the Isekai BL ‘The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter’. Originally a light novel by Yatsuki Wakatsu, a manga adaptation by Kazuki Irodori began serialization in March 2020.
Synopsis-
His heart and life are on the line! Seiichirou Kondou used to be a regular Japanese salaryman, but now he’s an accountant in another world! Salmon Writing’s “Four Elements” Series Adaptation Announced
Thai GL author Salmon Writing announced that her “Four Elements” novel series will be getting a live-action adaptation.

Synopsis-
The plot is related to the story title, The Earth has ‘Din Kasama’ as the protagonist, she is determined, and kind-hearted but not weak, like Earth. In ‘The Water’ the character ‘Nam Arpo’ is cunning like water that runs deep. That’s why she can handle it when someone tries to dig up dirt on her hotel and her family’s business, she knows exactly how to get back at them. ‘Lom Vayo’ in The Water stands out, she is agile like the wind. She is a talented Police Lieutenant who was assigned to escort a princess from a foreign land and protect her from the rebels. In ‘The Fire’, ‘Fire Ajima’ is hot-tempered like fire. She is an heiress of a mine and Southern private island’s owner. She is tough on the outside but soft on the inside.
The Dragon House
In cue with the announcement for the live-action adaptation of the “Four Elements Series”, official teaser was released for the first part of “The Salmon Series”. Adapted from Salmonwriting’s trilogy, the show is titled “The Dragon House” and stars Frame Supakchaya (Wonderframe) & Mookda Narinrak in lead roles.
Synopsis-
The Plerngmangkon Family has three distinguished characters and three different vibes. The Dragon is a love story that starts with an arranged marriage, and protection that leads to love. The Tiger is a story about two rival families followed by quick-witted battles and thrilling action scenes. And lastly, The Swan is a story about a complicated background and a necessary vengeance.

Secret Love Mini Series
A collaboration between QUSTORY & Bebravehub, “Secret Love Mini Series” premieres on November 16. Adapted from the web novel “Secret Love” (秘密爱) by J.W, the show stars FirstOne Wannakorn and Tle Matinum in lead roles.
Synopsis-
When An was only eleven, he and his parents were in an accident that took their lives but spared An. He was then adopted by Gu Hao Wei, a CEO and friend of his parents. An was then living under the same roof as his crush Jin. Sometime after An and Jin overheard an argument over An inheriting the company, Jin began to ignore him and chose to go to school in America. Sure he knew the reason, An felt guilty.
Years later, Jin returns and attends the same university as An. Still at odds and fighting all the time, Jin’s jealousy drives him to use force with An, who he’s long been in love with. Knowing the truth—that his father had been responsible for An’s childhood accident—Jin has avoided facing him.

Secret Relationship
Playlist Studio will be collaborating with Kakao Entertainment and Fuji Television to adapt the popular webtoon “Secret Relationship”. The show has an ensemble casting which includes Kim Jun Seo from the K-pop boy group WEi as Jung Daon, Cha Sun Hyung as Kim Sunghyun, Cha Jung Woo as Joe Soohyun, and Kim Ho Young as Shin Jaemin.
“Secret Relationship” will begin filming in September and is slated to air in the first quarter of 2025.

PongTong Are Real
Following MewTul’s engagement, we have announcement from another celebrity couple. In his Instagram account, Be on Cloud’s CEO Pond Krisda confirmed that actors Pong Pongsakorn and Tong Thanayut are dating. They were last seen together in the 2022 hit adaptation “KinnPorsche The Series” as Tem (Pong) and Tankhun Theerapanyakul (Tong). After going public with their relationship, PongTong recently posted a video from their trip to Chiang Mai. They are adorably in love and their camaraderie shines throughout the video. Congratulations are in order!
Go For It, Nakamura!
Official trailer released for upcoming Japanese BL anime “Go For It, Nakamura!”. Adapted from Syundei’s “Go for It, Nakamura! (Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!)” manga, Crunchyroll will be streaming the series in 2025. The anime will star Chira Kobayashi as Okuto Nakamura and Yuki Sakakihara as Aiki Hirose.
Synopsis-
Nakamura is a shy boy who falls in love at first sight with one of his classmates–his dreamy high school classmate, Hirose. But there’s a problem: they haven’t met yet. And Nakamura is a total klutz who might bungle things before they even begin!
