As expected, GMMTV’s Lineup 2025 was a sumptuous affair with new pairings added, older pairings getting new shows and some surprise additions that might shock you. The most shocking aspect being the launch of 20 new series, out which seventeen are BL series, two are GL series & only one heterosexual romance. With same sex marriage being legalized in January, 2025; GMMTV is betting on the popularity of queer productions. This lineup could very well chart their priorities in near future. Apart from some remaining projects from the 2024 Lineup (Thame – Po (13 Dec 2024), My Golden Blood, Ossan’s Love Thailand, Revamp The Undead Story, Sweet Tooth Good Dentist, The Ex-Morning), we have19 shows to dissect, so let’s get moving!
The Love Of Siam The Musical
The first and biggest surprise of the evening was the launch of GMMTV’s first ever musical; and the subject they choose for it is the oldest classic in Thailand’s history, “The Love of Siam”. The 2007 hit starred Mario Maurer and Pchy Witwisit in the lead roles and is one of the most iconic movies ever written and it was widely applauded for its queer portrayal in an era where homophobia was still quite prevalent in the Thai society.
Dare You To Death
Adapted from the novel “Dare You to Death” (Dare you to Death ไขคดีเป็นเห็นคดีตาย) by MTRD.S, the show will be starring the current heartthrobs, Joong Archen & Dunk Natachai. Joong & Dunk have become immensely popular since their introduction in “Star and Sky: Star in My Mind” which was followed by “Hidden Agenda” and the currently on-air “The Heart Killers”.
Synopsis-
When Kamin, the station’s new inspector and extremely impulsive captain, Jade has to work together to solve the mysterious murder case that happened when eight best friends were drinking, partying and playing TRUTH OR DARE, a game that is supposed to be fun. But it got horrifying when someone was killed dies after playing a game during the night. Instead, only seven were left the next day, and the Kamin interrogated them that night. However, it continues with everyone’s life as a pawn in the game. There are many puzzles that make you think and you have to hurry and find the answer before it’s too late.

Head 2 Head Series
Adapted from the web novel “Nai Khrai Wa JJ Mai Thuk Kan” (ไหนใครว่าเจเจไม่ถูกกัน?) by My feline, the show stars “Only Boo Series” main leads Keen Suvijak & Sea Dechchart alongside Surf Patchara (I Saw You In My Dream) and Java Bhobdhama (Summer Night Series). Directed by New Siwaj, the show is based on “Rivals To Lovers” trope.
Synopsis-
Jay at the age of twenty never thought that such a miracle would happen to himself. When he dreamed of the future of his enemy, it seemed broken. Jay couldn’t see anything else but only saw the story of Jinn alone.
This vision of the future shattered Jay’s entire life of belief. The belief that Jinn can only be an enemy. It couldn’t be any other way. So what was the thing he saw in his dream?
Nowadays, they fight each other almost to death. Why is the future so friendly like that? Why would his future self allow such a thing to happen!!

Burnout Syndrome Series
Sometimes dreams do come true and mine was seeing Dew Jirawat in a BL. I have been his huge fan since I saw him in “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers”. Dew is set to star opposite the iconic GMMTV couple, Off Jumpol & Gun Atthaphan in “Burnout Syndrome Series”. The show is being directed by Nuchy Anucha Boonyawatana and this is her second project with OffGun after “Not Me Series”. The story is scripted by author Jittirain.

Only Friends Dream On
This was another surprise from last night’s event, I so wasn’t expecting the sequel to “Only Friends Series” and that too with this kind of ensemble casting. Directed by Ninew Pinya Chookamsri, Season Two stars Earth Pirapat, Mix Sahaphap, Ohm Pawat, Leng Thanaphon, Joss Wa-yar & Gawin Caskey in lead roles.

That Summer Series
For avid WinnySatang fans who were clamoring for their main lead project, we have some good news. Directed by Jojo Tichakorn Phukhaotong, Winny Thanawin & Satang Kittiphop will be leading the drama “That Summer Series” alongside supporting couple, Mond Tanutchai & Ryu Phudtripart.

My Romance Scammer
Ohm Thitiwat (Until We Meet Again) and Fluke Jeeratch (My Ride) will be starring in “My Romance Scammer” alongside Junior Panachai & Mark Jiruntanin. Ohm & Fluke recently joined GMMTV, so I wasn’t expecting to see them paired opposite to each other, somehow in every universe, Ohm ends up with Fluke. Junior and Mark were first seen in “Cherry Magic Thai” and also star in the currently on-air “Perfect 10 Liners”. The show will be directed by New Siwaj.

Book Kasidet & Force Jiratchapong will be starting in their fifth project together. The mystery thriller, titled “Melody Of Secrets” will be directed by Tle Tawan. The story is an original screenplay and ForceBook were the director’s first choice to play the lead roles.

Love You Teacher Series
GMMTV’s latest pairing Perth Tanapon & Santa Pongsapak are already making waves with their adorable chemistry in “Perfect 10 Liners”. So it was only natural that they would be cast in a new project; I just wasn’t expecting them to lead a new project by themselves this soon. Titled “Love You Teacher Series”, Perth and Santa were playing the main leads. Directed by Dome Jarupat, the show has a school backdrop and Santa will be playing an amnesiac character, who is fond of children unlike his boyfriend (Perth) who absolutely hates kids.

“Mu-Te-Luv” is essentially an anthology collection of 7 stories. “Mu-Te-Luv: Fortune Says Hi” stars Keen Suvijak & Sea Dechchart in another “Enemies to Lover’s” trope. “Mu-Te-Luv: Queen of Queens” stars Lego Rapeepong, Fluke Nattanon, Soodyacht Patsit & Neo Trai as drag queens looking for love. “Mu-Te-Luv: 9 Temples?” stars Ohm Pawat and Leng Thanaphon in a school rivalry story.

Directed by Waa Waasuthep, “Boys In Love Series” impressed me a lot with its fresh pairings. Starring Mick Metas, Luke Peemsan, Chokun Puttipong (My Love Mixup Thai), Aston Ratiphat in lead roles alongside Paul Tanan & Ken Kanthee. For those are unaware, Mick is Win Metawin’s younger brother.

My Magic Prophecy
Adapted from the novel “Tham Nai Thai Thap” (ทำนายทายทัพ) by Dawin (ดวินทร์), Jimmy Jitaraphol & Sea Tawinan will be starring in “My Magic Prophecy”. Directed by A Natthaphong (Gap The Series, The Sign), author NinePinta was also involved in the scriptwriting process for this show.
Synopsis-
‘Intu’, a famous YouTuber and fortune teller has a special touch. One day, he predicts that his young friend’s brother would suffer a fatal accident. Unfortunately, he becomes a liar in the eyes of people who don’t believe in horoscopes like Dr. Thap Fah. Of course, the famous fortune teller wouldn’t care. In doesn’t want to deal with him anymore because he already gave him a warning. Until the young doctor accidentally became involved with a patient and the person in the shadows wanted to take his life as the fortune teller had warned him. The young fortune teller is forced to take in the arrogant doctor at the request of his female friend, so that his friend’s brother could hide while waiting for the police to catch the suspect.

A Dog And A Plane
Directed by Jojo Tichakorn, this comedy romance stars Tay Tawan & New Thitipoom sinead roles. They recently starred in the comedy horror “Peaceful Property” where TayNew’s phenomenal chemistry was off-the-charts. After “Kiss Me Again”, “Dark Blue Kiss”, “Cherry Magic” and “Peaceful Property”, this is their fourth project together. Marc Natarit & Poon Mitpakdee (Perfect 10 Liners) will be playing the supporting couple.

Adapted from the novel by P. Picha, “Memoir Of Rati” is GMMTV’s first historical BL production. The show stars “Wandee Goodday” main leads, Inn Sarin & Great Sapol alongside Boom Tharatorn & Aou Thanaboon (We Are Series”. The story is set in the Thai period of King Rama VI. The show is directed by Leejern Natchanit and author Ninepinta is involved in the scriptwriting process of the show as well.
Synopsis-
“Fate led to separation, and fate led to reunion.”
Whether it is fate that brought us together or not, in the end, it is fate once again that determines the conclusion.
Phra Surathi Thammathannaphichit is said to be someone who indulges in affairs with young men. No matter which family’s daughter he approaches, they all end up being left waiting, hence the saying goes.

If you are looking for a sapphic version of “Only Friends Series”, then “Girl Rules Series” should be your next stop. Starring an ensemble casting that includes Namtan Tipnaree & Film Racha (Pluto Series), Milk Pansa & Love Pattranite (23.5) and the fresh pairing of View Benyapa & Mim Rattanawadee, the show will be directed by Jojo Tichakorn.

Whale Store xoxo
Adapted from the novel “The Whale Store” (คุณวาฬร้านชำ The Whale Store ร้านนี้ไม่มีรักขาย) by Snow Leopard (เสือดาวหิมะ), the show stars Milk Pansa and Love Pattranite in the lead roles alongside the fresh pairing of June Wanwimol & Mewnich Nannaphas. GMMTV seems to have broken the sweet pairing of View Benyapa and June Wanwimol who became quite popular after starring in “23.5” and the recently on-air “High School Frenemy”. While we don’t know the reason for this Mixup, let’s hope they are comfortable with their new partners.
