Even Though We Are Adults

Hulu Japan announces live-action adaptation of Japanese GL “Even Though We Are Adults/ Otonani Nattemo”. Based on the manga of the same name by Shimura Takako, the show stars Yamamoto Mizuki and Kuriyama Chiaki in lead roles. Set to premiere on 26th April and the series will have 12 episodes.

Synopsis-

Ayano, an elementary school teacher in her thirties, stops by a bar one day and runs into her old friend, Akari. Sparks fly as the two chat, and before the night is over, Ayano even goes in for a kiss. Akari is intrigued but confused, especially when she discovers that Ayano has a husband! Both Ayano and Akari are about to find out that love doesn’t get any easier, even as you grow older.

Secret Relationship

Fresh posters and character teasers released for the upcoming Korean adaptation “Secret Relationships”. Adapted from the webtoon “Secret Relationship” (비밀 사이) by McQueen Studio (맥퀸스튜디오), the show stars WEi’s Kim Jun Seo, Cha Sun Hyung, Kim Hoyoung, and Cha Jung Woo in lead roles. Premieres on IQIYI & Gagaoolala from February 27.

Synopsis-

Zense More announce two new Girls’ Love projects, “Read My Mind” and “Always Remember”. It is quite possible that “Mate The Series” main leads, Grace Budsarin & Oaey Ponchanok might star in one of them.

Official trailer released for “The Red Envelope”. Starring Billkin as the human & PP Krit as the ghost. Directed by Chayanop “Mormu” Boonprakob (Friend Zone), the movie is a fun remake of the Taiwanese movie “Marry My Dead Body”.

Heesu In Class 2

Almost after 3 years delay, Korean BL “Heesu In Class 2” is set to premiere on March 28. Adapted from the webtoon “Heesu in Class 2” (2반 이희수) by Lily Zuzu (릴리), the show stars Ahn Ji Ho (All Of Us Are Dead), Lee Sang Jun (Squid Game 2), Kim Do Yeon and Cho Jun Young in lead roles.

Synopsis-

Hee Su’s world revolves around Chan Young, his best friend and secret crush. He doesn’t mind cheering Chan Young from the sidelines or listening to all his girl problems. Kadokawa has confirmed the anime adaptation of Sumiko Arai’s “The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy at All (Ki ni Natteru Hito ga Otoko Janakatta)” manga.

Synopsis-

Fashionable and upbeat high schooler Aya falls head over heels for an employee at a local CD shop. He’s got an air of mystery about him, great style, and an impeccable music taste. Little does she know—this supposedly male employee is actually her female classmate Mitsuki! Mitsuki generally keeps to herself, but since her seat is right next to Aya’s, she can’t help but be extremely aware of the other’s crush. Japanese streaming portal WOWPW has released the official teaser for Chinese BL adaptation “Justice in the Dark”. Starring Zhang Xincheng & Fu Xinbo in lead roles, the show is set to premiere on March 7th. The show was canceled in 2023 after Youku broadcast the first 8 episodes.

MDZS Stage Adaptation

Official poster unveiled for the Japanese stage adaptation of MDZS. Adapted from the novel “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” (魔道祖师) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (墨香铜臭), the play stars Shunya Kaneko (Perfect Propose) as Wei Wuxian & Tomoki Hirose (Seven Days) as Lan Wangji. Shunya & Tomoki will be reprising the roles played by popular actors Xiao Zhan & Wang Yibo in the Chinese adaptation “The Untamed”.

GND Studio unveils official poster for their upcoming show, “Close to You”. The show consists of 4 storyline with a total of 8 episodes.

Studio Wabi Sabi Releases Pilots for Fourever You Project’s upcoming sequels

With the prequel coming to end recently, Studio Wabi Sabi delivering on the promise of producing the remaining stories in the “Fourever You Project”. Adapted from the novels ” East : Tag!, You’re Mine” and “North: How Much Is Your Love?” by Howlsairy, the prequel was focused on Hill-Easter (Pond Ponlawit- Earth Katsamonnat) & Johan-North’s (Maxky Ratchata- Bas Hatsanat) stories. The upcoming sequels will be adapted from “West: The Sun From Another Star” & “South : Beside the sky”.

Domundi Lineup 2025

Domundi TV had an extensive lineup involving some unreleased and entirely new shows taunted for release in 2025/2026. We were left gobsmacked by the massive output and although we aren’t sure when these shows will finally see the limelight, the storylines and accompanying pilots do seem intriguing!

Synopsis-

When Wan gets a casting opportunity for a support role in a Y series his idol will be starring in, he meets Third, a sharp-tongued leading man and Nine’s ship partner. The two clash immediately, but when Wan passes his audition, the two are forced to work together.
