“So, my answer to your question is…
I have fallen in love with you after all this time. It has been a long-lasting love. I cannot live a long life without you by my side.”
The premise for this show might seem simple but it isn’t. Adapted from the novel “Reverse with me: Across Millions of Orbits” (Reverse With Me ล้านวงโคจร) by Zezeho, “Reverse with Me” is the follow up or sequel to “Reverse 4 You”. If you have watched the prequel, you would know about the magical powers that the main lead Jattawa & her sister Vivi possess. Born into a family where the descendants have magical powers, Jattawa can manipulate time and Vivi can glimpse at the future through her visions. “Reverse with Me” focuses on Karan, Jattawa’s daughter. Ironically, she can not only manipulate time like her mother but also has the power of visions. All her life, she has been dreaming about a girl who aspires to become a doctor. In order to meet the girl of her dreams, Karan becomes a doctor herself. But as fate may have it, their first meeting is apocalyptic with Karan meeting her love interest, Kliaokhluen as she is on the brink of death. What follows is a disjointed tale of longing so deep, it will leave you heartbroken!
Karan & Kliaokhluen- Will They Reunite or Not

I must admit the storytelling in this show is quite crisp, it quickly immerses you into the dual worlds of the main protagonists albeit like a parallelogram. While Kliaokhluen (Pitcha Pitchatorn) grapples with her family situation where she is treated as inferior to her younger brother; Karan is coming to terms with her powers under her mother’s tutelage. Obviously, born to rich parents, Karan (Natt Nattamon) has a clear advantage because her family situation isn’t as dire as Kliaokhluen. Her parents understand her well and even help her adapt to new realities, they really have no qualms accepting the fact that their young daughter keeps dreaming about a girl. On the other hand, Kliaokhluen has major disagreements with her patriarchal father who considers his brother more important than him. Her accident leads to another showdown with her father; her parent’s callous attitude hurts her inexplicably and she attempts suicide. Karan who is working as an extern at the same hospital manipulates time and saves her. Haunted by their unfulfilled connection, Kliaokhluen embarks on a relentless quest for Karan and pursues medical degree to follow into the footsteps of her enigmatic savior. The twist is pretty ironic, because Karan herself became a doctor because of her curiosity to meet Kliaokhluen. In a way, they fulfill each other’s aspirations and pave way for their future.
Years later, they meet again when Karan emerges, not as a fellow student but as a cold and distant cardiothoracic surgeon. Kliaokhluen, now a seasoned sixth-year medical student fails to understand why her savior is treating her so coldly. The storyline intricately ties their past and present together, with quite a few unanswered questions. Even though Karan keeps her at a distance, she persistently follows Kliaokhluen & saves her in untoward situations. She manipulates time again & again, but also maintains a clear distance from Kliaokhluen. It is quite confusing because it’s obvious that she cares a lot about Kliaokhluen. Could it be because of the recurrent dream where Kliaokhluen gets shot dead at their wedding?
Is it a Worthwhile Watch

A longing so intense that they spend years searching for each other!
Karan & Kliaokhluen have their fate tied together, but it’s quite fateful. Karan has spent an entire lifetime dreaming about Kliaokhluen, but when they meet Kliaokhluen is in a dire situation. On the other hand, Kliaokhluen spend quite a few years searching for the enigmatic savior who vanished after saving her. With Karan denying their connection, Kliaokhluen is struggling to accept a reality which exists, but she can’t reaffirm it. Natt Nattamon & Pitcha Pitchatorn have a refreshing chemistry; Karan’s longing is quite evident in the moments when she quietly helps Kliaokhluen. Kliaokhluen wants to reconnect with Karan so badly, but she can’t understand why she is being kept at an arm’s distance. I’m enjoying the slow burn romance, hoping it gets better in the upcoming episodes!
