This week was a slow poke again, with rather few announcements. The Friday rush seems to die with quite a few shows headed towards their finale. Let’s go through the upcoming fresh lot!
Queendom The Series
Third poster released for the upcoming sapphic adaptation QueendomTheSeries. Adapted from the novel “Queendom” (QUEENDOM #ซ่อนใจไว้ที่เธอ) by Salmon (แซลม่อน), the show stars Arhoung Nattawadee & P.amp Tarradee as main leads. Set to premiere on 14th August.
Interview With Vampire Season Three
First look poster released for Sam Reid who will return to reprise his role as main lead, Lestat de Lionheart in Season 3. While AMC’s first two seasons of Rice’s Vampire Chronicles adaptation centered on Louis du Pointe de Lac (Jacob Anderson), Reid has been oh so patiently waiting for this moment when the Brat Prince takes center stage. Pissed off at the way he was portrayed in Louis and Daniel Molloy’s (Eric Bogosian) book, Lestat forms a band and goes on tour to reclaim his own life story.

Khemjira The Series
Adapted from the novel “Khemjira Will Survive” (เขมจิราต้องรอด) by Cali (คาลิ), “Khemjira The Series” is set to premiere on 9th August. Starring Keng Harit Buayoi & Namping Napatsakorn in lead roles.
Synopsis-
Khem is born into a cursed family. Supposedly, a daughter born into the family would be safe. However, a son would die before he’d reached the age of twenty. Khem’s mother cleverly gives him a girl’s name, Khemjira, which means “forever safe.” Khem believes that until his nineteenth birthday.

Shine The Series
Fresh poster & trailer released for Be on Cloud’s upcoming period drama “Shine The Series. Starring Mile Phakphum & Apo Nattawin in lead roles. Premieres on 2nd August, 2025.
Synopsis-
A tale of love and ideals unfolds in an era resistant to diversity set against the backdrop of the political turmoil of 1969-1971. Trin, a principled economist, collides with Thanwa, a free-spirited hippie. Peach Blossoms Bloomed
On July 22, global BL platform Heavenly announced the main cast for its upcoming original drama “Peach Blossoms Bloomed” (literal title).
“Peach Blossoms Bloomed” is a romantic comedy about Do Ha, a man who has never been in a relationship, and his chaotic journey to find a boyfriend as he becomes entangled with three different men.
VICTON’s Subin has been cast as Do Ha, the lead character. Rookie actor Cha Se Jin will play Taek Gyeon, Do Ha’s best friend of 17 years.
Model-turned-actor Lee Do Han will star as Jeon Yeon Sang, Do Ha’s cold and intimidating boss, while actor Cha Yu Hyun will portray Yeon Ha Ram, a cheerful and playful master of flirting.
“Peach Blossoms Bloomed” is slated to premiere in the second half of this year.
The History of Sound
Official poster & trailer released for the upcoming period romance “The History of Sound”. Adapted from the short story of the same name by Ben Shattuck, The History of Sound stars Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor as young men Lionel and David, who fall for each other in a post World War I landscape thanks to the power of music. The movie is helmed by Shirley Adams and Beauty director Oliver Hermanus. The History of Sound is due for theatrical release on 12 September in the US and 19 September in Canada.
Synopsis-
Two young music students, Lionel and David, attending the Boston Conservatory in 1917, bond over their shared love of folk music. They reconnect a few years later, embarking on a song collecting trip in the backwaters of Maine.

Directed by Julia Jackman, 100 Nights of Hero is set in the fantastical world of Migal Bavel, where a woman named Cherry (Monroe) falls in love with her maid Hero (Corrin). But her sinister husband Jerome (El-Masry) has made a bet with his friend Manfred (Galitzine): if Manfred can seduce Cherry within one hundred nights, Jerome will hand over both his wife and his castle.
To thwart their plan, Hero — who belongs to the secretive League of Secret Story Tellers — spins “mesmerising” stories each night to distract Manfred and “keep him at bay”.
