I’m not particularly invested in GL shows, and yet we here, because there is only one way to describe LingOrm’s chemistry- swoon-worthy!
My princesses are back with a bang; I really missed them after “Secret of Us” ended & I was eagerly looking forward to the premiere launch of this show. LingOrm don’t disappoint in the slightest; from the first episode itself, their chemistry is unimaginably transient. The subject is quite cliche, a boss and bodyguard romance is something we are quite familiar with. So what sets this show apart from others- the bubbly personality manifested by Orm Kornnaphat pairs well with Lingling Sirilak’s calm & composed demeanor. Childhood friends to Lover’s trope is quite common too, but LingOrm’s chemistry lends a hand to this storyline which is unmistakably charming. The first episode might seem slow paced but by the second episode, the story pulls up tancturm and it is an enjoyable ride. It’s been a long time since I actually sat down and enjoyed watching a GL. The storytelling is crisp, actresses are phenomenal and the good points transcend the bad ones.
Storyline & Characters

Tawan (Lingling Sirilak) and Aira (Orm Kornnaphat) studied in the same school. Two years her senior, Tawan is quite popular in her school. One day, when Aira is being assaulted by some unknown men on her way back home, Tawan steps in and saves her. It’s “Love at first sight” for Aira. They part ways and Aira meets her again at her new school where she transferred recently. Though Tawan doesn’t acknowledge her instantly, they slowly grow closer as Aira joins the same club ad Tawan. Tawan falls for Aira’s clumsiness and adorable personality. Unfortunately good things come to an end when Tawan suddenly transfers without even bidding farewell to Aira. Deeply disappointed, Aira vows that she will grow up to be a successful pop idol and find Tawan again by all means possible. Eight years later, Aira is a popular pop idol. She suddenly starts receiving threatening letters, so her father decides to hire a personal bodyguard for her. Aira somehow procures the details of the security agency run by Tawan and recommends the same to her father. She almost turns the agency upside down until Tawan agrees to become her personal bodyguard. And thus starts the hijinks.
Is it a Worthwhile Watch

LingOrm’s chemistry is on another level, so there is never a dull moment!
Tawan is rather shocked at being set up by the mischievous Aira, but she always maintains her composure. As they spend time together, the walls begin to collapse and in no time, they are back to their school-time camaraderie. It is in the way, Tawan looks at Aira, like she hung the stars and the moon. If someone as gorgeous as Tawan looked at me that way, I would be left tongue-tied. Orm matches Ling’s serious persona with her bubbly nature. They are a match made in heaven, literally!

Streaming on- Netflix
I love a good GL as much as BL, and I’m working on Denied Love right now (another Thai series) but this will be next on my binge list. Thank you!
