GMMTV announces Ship Breakup & New Pairing

There was a frenzy caused by GMMTV’s random announcements last week. Firstly, they announced that the “MarcPoon” pairing has come to an end. Marc Natarit was previously paired with Pawin Thanik. When Pawin was caught in a scandalous rumor because of his ex-girlfriend, GMMTV paired Marc with Poon Mitpakdee. They starred together in “We Are Series” and the recently concluded “Perfect 10 Liners”. Their chemistry was much appreciated by the audiences. Apart from the shocking revelation of their breakup, it was announced that Poon will now be paired opposite Ohm Thitiwat in the upcoming romance “My Romance Scammer”. When the project was previously announced, Ohm has been paired opposite GMMTV’s new recruit Fluke Wongpian. Now, Fluke has been replaced with Poon, and he would be instead be joining as a new cast in “Dare You to Death”. Apart from this, instead of MarcPoon, the newly created pairing of Mond Tanutchai & Ryu Phudtriphat will be starring in “A Dog and A Plane”. Fans have expressed their apprehension about the newly minted pairing of OhmPoon. Will it work or not?

Gotoh Shinobu’s wildly popular “Takumi-kun Series,” which has sold over 5 million copies in total, will be adapted into a live-action TV drama. The “Takumi-kun Series” is a school love story set in an all-boys boarding school, depicting the delicate and heartbreaking romance between boys. After being adapted into a variety of media, including comics, drama CDs, stage plays, and live-action films, the series has finally been announced for broadcast as the TV drama. In this live-action drama, the role of Hayama Takumi (aka Takumi) will be played by Shiozaki Taichi (M!LK), who has been garnering attention for his role in a popular series, and the role of Saki Yoshikazu (aka Guy) will be played by Kato Daigo, who continued from the previous film. In addition, this time, Takumi and Guy’s classmates at Shido Academy will be played by a cast of unique and fresh young actors, including Yamashita Eiyu, Aihara Isshin, Sekoguchi Ryo, Yuraku, Hiiragi Taro, and Miyamoto Ryunosuke. Cosmetic Playlover Season Two

FOD has announced the live action adaptation of the popular mafia BL manga, “A Journey to Kill You” (Anata wa Korosu Tabi). Adapted from the manga by author Asai Sai, the show stars Masanari Wada & Hiroto Takahashi as main leads.

Synopsis-

The yakuza crime BL manga centers on Kataoka, a young lieutenant in a yakuza group, and his underling Odajima. When Kataoka does something drastic that puts the heat on him, the group tells him to take a trip and let things cool down, with Odajima trusted to take care of him. Odajima does everything for Kataoka, from groceries to sex. But Odajima is also trusted with another grim task: to kill Kataoka.
