Every year, lots of BL series are released, in which some touch our hearts and some we just enjoy as a one-time watch, but what we all for sure focus on in each of these series is the OST. If a series has a background score that captures viewers’ hearts, that series has 70% chance of becoming a hit series. Here are my top 5 favorite BL series OST that I can listen to on loop all day, any day:
1) 2 Moons (Season One)
This OST is one of my all-time favorite, and I still can’t hear it without crying because it has that nostalgic memory of me watching 2 Moons for the very first time and instantly falling in love with everything in that series, from the novel to the characters to the actors.
2) Just Friends by Boy Sompob
I love this OST, it is so catchy, and it actually catches the flow and vibe of “A Chance to Love”, especially Tin and Can’s characters in the series.
3) 2 Moons 2 Official OST
Honestly, I was surprised by how much I loved this OST, and I still do; it’s so romantic and beautiful.
4) My Oxygen from “Oxygen The Series”
Sung by the main lead of the series, this OST describes the overall feel of the series, and those who have read the novel will understand how much this OST relies on the series’ feel.
5) Tharn Type The Series Ost
The scene where Tharn performs the song in the series, with him sitting in front of the drum. How much I love that scene, and because of that scene, I fell in love with the song and still listen to it.
SPECIAL MENTION:
SPARK BY A.C.E (Light on Me)
“Light On Me” is a Korean BL series, based on first love, high school, and it has an amazing OST that deserves a special corner. A.C.E is a K-POP Boy band, and they sang this OST, and it’s so beautiful. I have been in love with it since the moment it was released until now.

Maybe I shouldn’t be commenting on a personal list, but then on the other hand, why make it public?
Your favourite songs are all Thai. With one exception as a bonus. Why Thai? Do you only watch Thai BLs? Also they are all older songs. Nothing recent you liked?
I could never notice any difference between Thai BL series songs: funky, fingers snapping, boring and basically all the same. The only songs I ever liked are a couple of older Jeff Satur songs (from He She It and The Ingredients) while his recent ones all fall into the same mould. I guess the Thai audience likes them so who I am to complain…. Nevertheless, I still find them boring!
How about songs from other countries’ BLs? China (The Untamed, Spirealm), South Korea (Jazz for Two, The Eighth Sense etc.) and Taiwan spring to mind. Not Japan though: good with background score but songs? not really….

No!! I watch thai, Taiwanese, chinese and obviously Japanese bl, Vietnamese and pinoy too and I love all of them… I was thinking of doing CBL oats too so that I could include some of my fav’s from there too…
Also I could have include new one too… Maybe I’ll write a new article 😁😁 mentioning them too 😁
