I think “The Ex-Morning” should be considered one of the best series of 2025, which left a good impression on me. Krist and Singto’s characters in this series are perfectly imperfect, and that’s what makes it more wholesome or believable. The series is based on a “Second-Chance Romance” between Phi (Krist Perawat) and Tam (Singto Prachaya). The plot revolves around heartbreak, a random breakup, misunderstandings, and reconciliation, which was intriguing because it felt like a breath of fresh air in a sea of similarly scripted shows being produced.
After the coffee incident that happens in the pilot episode, Phi suddenly sees a downfall in his popularity and the public call for his boycott. To help him overcome this, his boss asks for help from his ex-boyfriend, Tam, who was living abroad. Phi denies help from Tam at first as he is still wounded from the break-up, which was random because he didn’t know why Tam suddenly broke up with him, and that too on his important day. Due to past incidents and misunderstandings, the atmosphere between them is hot and cold, but it often results in hilarious situations, because Phi is clumsy and Tam is the one who understands him the most. Due to some circumstances, Phi agrees to work under “Te,” who is his work rival and also benefited most from the incident. But it results in humiliation, since Phi needed a crew member and only “Te” could have helped. As a result, Phi finds support in Tam, who is there for him no matter what. Slowly, their hot and cool feelings rekindle an old flame, and with some jealousy and a marriage, they get the happy ending they deserve.

Krist and Singto as Phi and Tam were perfect; their banter and chemistry were awesome and felt natural. Ohm Ithitiwat as Paul, stole the show, I was very surprised to see him and loved him. Kaokee and Nudee, I was shipping them throughout the series, but with his older brother Yong also in the picture, I was kind of confused, and if that part wasn’t included, maybe they would have a clearer story. Rita’s characterization was funny, and I felt it added more colour and entertainment to the series. Also, Te and Suwit as shade characters were good as they will make you feel so angry with them.
