School wore me out this week, and consequently, I find myself here on Saturday evening, playing catch up. I looked at my social media and realized I hadn’t posted any reviews most of the week, which is unusual for me. Still, I’m glad I’m able to write this article each week and reflect upon all that happened, since there’s always quite a bit going on.
It was a jam packed week, we are having a hard time keeping up with the various announcements dropping from the Japanese shores. Doesn’t mean, that Thailand was left behind. Both countries are churning out BL/GL dramas at a surprisingly fast rate. You blink and there is a new exclusive to behold!

I am sure that I shall have my official passport granting me entry into the BL world revoked for this review, as I know this series is universally praised as exceptional. However, I honestly was not enamored with this series. I have a difficult time with movies and series trying to make gay life ‘perfect’. This even went beyond that. It gave an individual an opportunity for a second chance to relive his life. A do-over. What the series called a reset. But frankly, I was unsure why he deserved a do-over nor did I think he deserved one. It was simply baffling. He reached a pinnacle in this life for which most of us will never accomplish or attain or even dare to dream about. He found out that individuals around him were nefarious and murderous. Too late. My cynical and questioning mind then asked: So what and why him? What was so special about Armin?
Life is one big boxing ring. Every day, we step inside it, preparing ourselves for what the day may bring. Sometimes, we lose the fight. Sometimes, we win it. But every hit leaves its mark.
There are twenty-five series currently airing that are accessible to international viewers, plus a variety of reel series, and I have chosen to watch thirteen of them. I guess that’s what happens when the BL flood begins.
The Japanese world is on the rise, they are aiming for BL domination. With fervid announcements that include new adaptations & sequel releases, the genre is stirring interest & intrigue all over the continent. Seemingly, the other genres are not to be left behind. We have a sizable chunk of exclusives to share & discover!
