This quote best describes the romance in this beautiful sapphic romance. Adapted from the novel “The Earth” (The Earth วิวาห์ปฐพี) by Salmon (แซลม่อน), this show stars Apple Lapisara & Mim Panthita. For those who are unaware about the storyline in the novels, “4 Elements” focuses on the Wathinwanit heiresses. Born into a powerful family, the four cousins- Din, Nam, Lom & Fai are extremely close and protective of each other. Each novel encompasses their love story with their better halves. The first story in this universe focuses on the eldest in this lot, Din” Kasama Wathinwanit. It is a fairytale romance when Cinderella meets her Princess Charming, and they fall in love, in the midst of drama & warfare!

The Storyline

Rose Thippapha (Mim Panthita), heir to the Chomjan acreage, returns to Chiang Rai from America when her stepfather falls into a coma following a suspicious accident. Rose is exceedingly beautiful and soon becomes the target of the mafia residing in the town, Wasupol (Ex Piya Vimuktayon), who wants to forcibly marry her to his son, Wasu (Nodt Nutthasid). They are engaged in women trafficking and need the boundary lands that belong to Chomjan acreage. Fortunately, Rose’s childhood friend and owner of an organic vegetable farm, Din Kasama Wathinwanit (Apple Lapisara) comes to protect her. To secure her safety, she and Din agree to marry each other. While facing unrecognizable dangers, Din & Rose grow closer and fall in love.

Chemistry

Apple and Mim are a fresh pairing, but their chemistry is undeniable. Especially the way, Rose underplays her emotions and yet manages to leave Din flustered is amusing. Min has some really expressive eyes, the budding romance grows overtime. Apple has to play a shy character. Din is bold and daring when it comes to handling dangerous situations, but she becomes a bumbling mess whenever Rose flirts with her mercilessly. They make an endearing couple, and you slowly fall in love with their chemistry!!

Din’s parents had passed away, and she was raised by Rose’s stepfather who taught her farming. But that doesn’t mean Din didn’t have family support. Her cousin sisters, Lom (Freen Sarocha) & Fai (Namneung Milin) are insanely protective of their elder sister. Nam (Engfa Waraha) provides support and advice, whenever it is needed. Freen does an exemplary job portraying Lom’s cautious nature. Whenever Din is in danger, Lom is always by her side, protecting her elder cousin and her wife. In the end, this show is all about falling in love, while facing trials & tribulations together!!
