“The Ex-Morning” First Impressions (Ep.1 to 4)

“The Ex-Morning” is a 2025 Thai BL drama that marks a highly anticipated reunion of Krist Perawat and Singto Prachaya, our beloved characters from SOTUS. I was excited about watching this show since the first teaser was released, because Krist and Singto have that undeniable chemistry and natural aura that make them look so good together.

“Eye Contact The Series” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)

This series starts very simply with Nu (Tora Toranin), who is considered a nerd because he wears glasses and gets in a minor accident after being hit by a car. The car belongs to our main lead, Sun (New Chunnawan) who is studying medicine in the same university as Nu. Moving on, Nu makes new friends in university who are connected to Sun’s friend or ex-friend Chain (Jame Supawit), which results in them crossing paths a lot and then results in them having drunken sex. From the first two episodes, it feels like Sun and his friends group as well as Chain are having some issues or there is some betrayal involved or maybe it’s a simple misunderstanding. Let’s see what the upcoming episode results in. Though the story of our main two leads isn’t very gripping or exciting, it is engaging!

“My Sweet Brother-in-law” Series Review (Ep.1 to 5)

There is so much to unpack in this short series. It is a prodigious tale as well. Initially, the way it was presented felt as if it might be a light, even comedic tongue-in-cheek story. Full of fun. But true to the nature of Vietnamese BLs, it emerges into realness. The human drama becomes honest, sincere, and relatable especially because of what happens when we simply are unable to truly be ourselves. It is a story of gayness and the inability to be free and open about who you are and the person you love. The Vietnamese have mastered the perfection of being able to portray these emotions with such intensity.

“Fight for You” Series Review (Ep.1 to 12)

Once I completed this series, I asked myself what was the premise of this series? And I honestly could not figure one out. It is your standard formulaic BL, full of tropes, cliches, customary setups, and unremarkable contrived crisis. But through at least some portions of this series, I found myself being avidly entertained chiefly because of the charming effect of the two main leads. The remainder, however, not so much because it was your standard flat setup.

“Depth of Field” Series Review (Ep.3 to 6)

There are moments in life when everything around us blurs, when the noise of expectation, pain, and routine drowns out the quiet beauty of connection. But every so often, someone steps into view so clearly, so unexpectedly, that they sharpen our world with a kind of gentle urgency.

“10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

Love isn’t just about youth and firsts. For many of us, love isn’t something that happens in our twenties. Sometimes, it shows up long after we’ve settled into a life we didn’t mean to build, after the routines, the work, the quiet loneliness, and the quiet comfort.
