The little things in life often leave the deepest impressions and the strongest support. The little things often open our eyes to the more significant moments.
Based on the web comic “Handsome Men” by Bae Chul Wan,”The Boy Next Door” follows the misadventures of two single college men, Park Kyu Tae (Choi Woo Shik) and his neighbor Sung Ji Jae (Jang Ki Yong). “Long Time No See” is a 5 episode action-packed series about two mafia enforcers, whose serendipitous or duplicitous circumstances meet and begin a romance. It was one I didn’t know existed back then in 2017 when it was being made and first premiered. The series stars Tak Woo Suk as Chi Soo aka Flying Dagger and Yeon Seung Ho as Gitae aka Wild Dog. The net series features a small cast of characters. Chi Soo’s adoptive father Black Rose (Independent Mafia leader) is played by Kim Myung Hwan who is the brother of Black Leopard played by Won Tae San. Black Leopard’s criminal organization was the one Chi Soo and Black Rose belonged to before he took his son and went his own way. Rounding out the cast is Gitae’s elder sister (Her name was never mentioned) played by Ra Sun Young. She is more like a mother to Gitae as their parents weren’t around for again unmentioned reasons.

Premiering on May 26th, 2023, the time traveling romance “Be My Favorite” which is the story of a shy man named Kawi (Krist Perawat) who is in love with his ideal woman, Pear (Aye Sarunchana) seems at best a star crossed love story. But that is probably more due to his inability to think positive of himself. Next to them is Pisaeng (Fluke Gawin), a popular athlete who Pear secretly holds a torch for. When Kawi is chosen to be Pear’s secret buddy, he uses the role as a means to romance her. But due to circumstances out of his control, he misses his chance. An act of kindness grants him the ability to travel back and forth through time, to fix things, but can he, or is fate moving as its own pace?
