After eleven weeks, 609 Bedtime Story has come to an end. Billed as the first Choose-your-ending BL, this supernatural romance directed by Tanwarin Sukkhapisit stars BL Royalty Ohm Thitiwat and Fluke Natouch as Dew and Mum, who cross parallel worlds to be with one another. Sukkhapisit is no stranger to supernatural dramas, and as a master storyteller, I went into this series with extremely high expectations and wasn’t disappointed.

Mesmerizing is the word that comes to my mind when I recall some of my favorite BL dramas. It has got nothing to do with the storytelling or execution and everything to do with the “Setting/Location”. A drama’s success cannot be solely ascribed to its cast or interesting storyline. The overall look depends on the adjoining location that adds the requisite oomph factor needed to drive the narrative forward. Join us as we talk about our favorite locales in the BL dreamland!
Tanwarin Sukkhapisit is a master at visual storytelling. Her film Red Wine in the Dark Night is one of the best vampire films I have ever seen. She did an incredible job with the series The Eclipse and her newest series, 609 Bedtime Story is nothing short of superb.
