The Chinese mainland isn’t favorable to homoerotic depictions, they mostly release censored versions of BL novels which are heavily neutered to meet the censorship needs. Despite that, the ensuing bromances always manage to depict a crisp, soft rendition of longing and yearning; the romantic tones though subtle are undeniable. In the recent years, most directors have been using unwarranted female leads as the third angle to pass censorship. Today, we are going to talk about some recently on-air Bromances which deliver a healthy side dose of mutual pinning!
My Favorite BL Actors (2024)- Edition III
We are onto our final edition of this distinctive feature, whereby we are sharing our love for the actors who made our hearts flutter in 2024 with their impressive performances and succinct dialogue delivery. We had got a few surprises that close quarters that received unwavering support from their fans and audiences. Making a mark is easy, holding onto that name is difficult. Here’s hoping these actors stick close to the laurels they learned through their hard work!

With their premiere date set on the horizon, we can certainly breathe easy. As GMMTV is stringing along dramas from their last lineup, work has already begun on shows scheduled for this year. Whether they make it to the big screens sooner or later is still debatable!
“I’ll Turn Back This Time” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)
Admittedly, this is one of the most disconcerting BLs I have ever watched. While apocalyptic in nature, it does not quite end that way, although, given that it is from China, can be a matter of interpretation. I honestly do not know what to make of its ending. If you are an optimist, then the cracking of the ensorcelled pendent means the curse has been broken. If you are a pessimist, then you view the cracking of the charmed pendant as a fait accompli. You must decide which on your own.
