The BL Xpress Awards- 2025 (Popular Vote)-Top Ten BL Couples [Results]
Frankly, we weren’t even surprised by this year’s results. We got a choke hold of BL pairings that have us hooked, booked & cooked. Some new and innovative, others old yet unique in their consistency. While most BL couples on this list are well known and their chemistry is a hit, we had a few new entrants adding to the glory of this fast-evolving genre. We are ecstatic to announce the “Top Ten BL Couples” in 2025!

“A Man Who Defies The World of BL Final” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)
To be sure, this story is a lot more of the same. A few more BL tropey ‘flags’ that trigger Bl developments were introduced that Mob (Inukai Atsuhiro) wiggles out from with seemingly little enthusiasm or creativity to them. Just like he did in all the other seasons. This time, honestly, I did not find any of it even funny or humorous. It felt old and came across as the usual modus operandi. New Year brings far too fewer updates as production houses gear up for new releases. The exclusives are few and far between but they are juicy and highly anticipated!
“A Man Who Defies The World of BL 2024” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)

BL Week in Review (BL 2025 Wrapped: My Top 10 Series)
Hi everyone,
The year 2025 has officially come to a close, and so has my sojourn with The BL Xpress. Before I count down my top ten series of 2025, thank The BL Xpress for the opportunity to write for them. It’s been fun, and I got to do so many new things.
2026 is going to be a year full of new things. BL Week in Review will be moving to my Patreon account. I will continue to give regular updates. The only difference is that it will be on Sundays instead of Tuesdays. Additionally, I am starting a blog. I’ve decided to call it Memoirs of a BL Fangirl.

We had fewer announcements last week, because of the new year festivities. But worry not, sooner than later; the BL/GL industry will be delivering updates!
Top Ten BL Actors- My Personal Favorites (2025)
An actor’s caliber rests on his ability to command the audience’s attention. 2025 saw a sudden rise in BL dramas and as such, the focus has shifted to intelligent storytelling and smart casting. Gone are the days, when popular actors could drive the ratings for a show. These days, audiences focus more on quality than quantity. If the show is mediocre, not even the most popular actor’s inclusion could save it!
