What do you do when there are so many fabulous BL series happening at the same time? Every day becomes a lazy couch potato day.
Seriously, though, Saturdays have so many great series currently airing. My favorite is probably “Khemjira” still, but “Revamp” is fun, and “The Wicked Game” has now started. I may or may not have spent all of yesterday on the couch.
KristSingto and EarthMix were both fabulous, and I’m so glad I got to participate in that experience! I discussed it fully last Tuesday during BL Week in Review, which is always a fun time. Eight series ended this week, and we only have one new series beginning next week. I think we are finally getting some breathing room for a minute.
I enjoyed “The Proper Way to Write Love”, “Memoir of Rati”, and “The Promise of the Soul” enough to recommend them here. Each series had a unique premise and was easy to follow. I believe “The Proper Way to Write Love” had the best execution, but “Memoir of Rati” certainly follows close behind. Anyway, they would make a fun binge session for a weekend where you just need to relax.
School wore me out this week, and consequently, I find myself here on Saturday evening, playing catch up. I looked at my social media and realized I hadn’t posted any reviews most of the week, which is unusual for me. Still, I’m glad I’m able to write this article each week and reflect upon all that happened, since there’s always quite a bit going on.
There are twenty-five series currently airing that are accessible to international viewers, plus a variety of reel series, and I have chosen to watch thirteen of them. I guess that’s what happens when the BL flood begins.
The fabric of time is woven with generations of choices and stories that shape who we become and how our stories ultimately play out. In the Thai BL Khemjira, it’s these past choices that shape one boy’s cursed future and his desperate determination to overcome it.
