Adapted from the manga of the same name, Me no Doku Sugiru No Futari or Two Office Workers Who Are Too Poisonous For One’s Eyes is a series with each episode having only 5 minutes runtime. It focuses on the thoughts, fantasies and shipping life of a Fujoshi. Oto Todoroki (Usuda Asami), our protagonist is hardworking and reserved, though very adorable if you get to know her better.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch on screen. Whether the creators behind them mean to express the depth of love between friends or whether they need to veil true romance behind a protective wall to avoid censorship and traditional expectation, the truth remains that bromances are still about love.
