“609 Bedtime Story” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

Tanwarin Sukkhapisit is a master at visual storytelling. Her film Red Wine in the Dark Night is one of the best vampire films I have ever seen. She did an incredible job with the series The Eclipse and her newest series, 609 Bedtime Story is nothing short of superb.

Upcoming Korean BL Dramas- Part VIII

In our previous list, we emphasize production values. In this next feature, we focus on three Korean BL in various states of production: Hee Su in Class 2, StarStruck, and A Shoulder To Cry On. Mind you, A Shoulder to Cry On is already controversial as the agency that manages the boys – Spire Entertainment – had a falling out with the actors. The controversy continues with the boys planning for legal action. Hopefully, the new series will push thru and with such an interesting storyline, one can’t help but anticipate. The Bastard Son and Good Queer Representation

Recently the series “The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself,” debuted on Netflix, and millions tuned in to see this wonderful series. Based on the books by author Sally Green, “the Half Bad Trilogy” tells the story of Nathan Byrne, son of Marcus Edge, the most infamous Blood Witch that ever lived. Aided by his friends Annalise and Gabriel, he quests to find the one thing that can save him from certain death: his family’s blood.
