2025 saw a massive outflow of BL dramas; the astronomical number of productions were subjected. We had a diverse profile catering to a wider audience and, as such, this year’s awards are meant to recognize talents from a variety of diaspora. The Boys’ Love & Girls’ Love industry are fast growing into economic phenomena, considering their reach and global outburst. The only difference between the rest of the Asian subcontinent and Thailand, is the recurring concept of BL/GL pairings. While the rest of the countries don’t focus on continuing the same pairings, Thailand’s soft power is quickly becoming taciturn because of their investments in long-standing couplings. We are here to take a glimpse at some of the most important couples in the Thai industry!
Summary: Passionate student Ryan gets an internship as an assistant director where he meets Jane, an AD with a unique ability to extinguish the fires of people’s passion. Ryan’s suffering is vented to this year’s fellow trainees, including a couple consisting of account executive Ba-Mhee and editor Teh, Pah in the art department, and Pie in production. As Ryan continues his training, however, he finds that P’Jane is kinder than people think, to the point that Ryan’s heart sometimes skips a beat and it becomes his goal to win Jane’s heart.

If you’re an OffGun fan who loved the show and don’t want to read anything negative about it, I would suggest to stop reading this review right now. I have been watching BL series from the time OffGun were almost officially considered BL royalty. Times have changed, there are more and more ‘official’ ships, where actors promote as a ship and pair together for multiple projects. What was once a novelty is now increasingly common. Which is why, rather than the reliance on a pairing alone, there needs to be more focus on the show itself to keep viewers engaged.
