This week was short and sweet as promised. I only watched 9 episodes and had plenty of time to do other things. Consequently, Chapter 2 of my interactive BL novel is almost ready to go out. In fact, by the time this is posted, it may already be available. Look for it on my social media. It is about an ordinary dude who gets thrown into extraordinary circumstances and finds a civilization in a parallel world that still lives with dinosaurs.
I don’t remember the last time that both Mondays and Tuesdays have been devoid of BL, but after this week, that is the case. April feels a bit slow in the BL world. Right now, I’m only watching 9 series, but maybe that’s alright. I plan on writing more. I am publishing an interactive BL on Wattpad and Archive of Our Own. New chapters should come out regularly. Also, I have a BL novel in the works.
We talked about fresh pairings last weekend and got so caught up in fantasizing about their “Oomph” factor, that we totally forgot to recount the fresh releases in the first quarter. Some curated hits, anticipated premieres and hot scenes are currently driving the momentum. We are dying to share our opinions about the “Latest Hits in the Town”. So buckle your seat belt, you are in for a wild ride!

I can’t believe I now have my first live video under my belt. I had so much fun that I’ve decided to continue. I already have the outline for Tuesday’s show. I’m hoping to see everyone there.
The new year has ushered in some fabulous combinations that were unheard before. The casting directors for shows that recently premiered deserve a raise, simply because of their dedication to scout for some interesting pairings. In the midst of recurring couplings, few production houses are actually daring enough to promote new BL/GL couples, and we salute their courage to do so!

This week, there was a drastic reduction in the number of series that aired. Four series ended last week, but one more started and three others will start next week. I finally feel like there is some breathing room, especially on Fridays. So, I took some time to truly enjoy sharing thoughts and ideas on social media.
Also, I had an idea. I think it would be fun to go live for this column and chat with all of you in real time about the series that aired during the week, so I’m going to give it a shot.

This last week saw the end of four series, and another is ending tomorrow. The good news is that Fridays are now down to four series since three of them finished this week. That’ll make life less stressful, at least for me.
“ThamePo” ended on Friday, but I have to put it at the top as another series recommendation. I know, I know. I’ve done a few series recommendations recently, but this one was excellent, and the ending was satisfying. It’s totally worth checking out, especially if you’re in the mood for slow-burn with a touch of idol culture, found family, and friendship all sprinkled with an excellent soundtrack.
This week, we got the best surprise. “Jack and Joker special episode” aired, and I must say that it was an excellent movie-length episode filled with action and angst. Word to the wise, watch beyond the end credits. You won’t regret it.
