Is there such a thing as love that endures against all odds?
Memoir of Rati seems to believe so. And it proves it.

Eight series ended this week, and we only have one new series beginning next week. I think we are finally getting some breathing room for a minute.
I enjoyed “The Proper Way to Write Love”, “Memoir of Rati”, and “The Promise of the Soul” enough to recommend them here. Each series had a unique premise and was easy to follow. I believe “The Proper Way to Write Love” had the best execution, but “Memoir of Rati” certainly follows close behind. Anyway, they would make a fun binge session for a weekend where you just need to relax.
The whirlwind of exclusives from the BL/GL doesn’t seem to be ceasing anytime soon. One show ends, and we have the announcement for the follow-up. Especially the Japanese shores are churning out dramas at an alarming rate!

School wore me out this week, and consequently, I find myself here on Saturday evening, playing catch up. I looked at my social media and realized I hadn’t posted any reviews most of the week, which is unusual for me. Still, I’m glad I’m able to write this article each week and reflect upon all that happened, since there’s always quite a bit going on.
It was a jam packed week, we are having a hard time keeping up with the various announcements dropping from the Japanese shores. Doesn’t mean, that Thailand was left behind. Both countries are churning out BL/GL dramas at a surprisingly fast rate. You blink and there is a new exclusive to behold!
Do you like bolder BL dramas that aren’t afraid to show their “adult” side? If so, you’ve come to the right place! They’re not only sweet, but they also have plots filled with heart-pounding chemistry (and maybe a little steamy, too). From relationships that start with lies to love journeys filled with challenges, here are 5 recommended BL series 18+ that you absolutely must watch.
Too much of something sweet can give you a toothache, this was a lesson both I and Sant (Ohm Thipakorn), the protagonist of “Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist”, learned over the course of the show.

I am sure that I shall have my official passport granting me entry into the BL world revoked for this review, as I know this series is universally praised as exceptional. However, I honestly was not enamored with this series. I have a difficult time with movies and series trying to make gay life ‘perfect’. This even went beyond that. It gave an individual an opportunity for a second chance to relive his life. A do-over. What the series called a reset. But frankly, I was unsure why he deserved a do-over nor did I think he deserved one. It was simply baffling. He reached a pinnacle in this life for which most of us will never accomplish or attain or even dare to dream about. He found out that individuals around him were nefarious and murderous. Too late. My cynical and questioning mind then asked: So what and why him? What was so special about Armin?
Life is one big boxing ring. Every day, we step inside it, preparing ourselves for what the day may bring. Sometimes, we lose the fight. Sometimes, we win it. But every hit leaves its mark.
