Love in B&B

Official posters released for the upcoming Chinese BL “Love in B&B”. Stars Zhou Jun Yu & Liang Hao Chuan in lead roles as An Qian Yu & Tong Da Shu. Scheduled to release this year.

Synopsis-

On the side of the road, there’s a bed & breakfast where a group of young people live. An Qian Yu, An Zi Yan’s younger brother, grew up with no worries and had everything taken care of for him. Suddenly he was forced to become CEO of B&B No. 101. Tong Da Shu is a PE teacher and loyal customer of Mai Ding. The two meet when the teachers’ dormitory undergoes renovations and Da Shu must temporarily move into B&B No. 101.

Pluto Series

Script reading has started for GMMTV’s second Thai GL “Pluto Series”. Adapted from the novel “Pluto: นิทาน ดวงดาว ความรัก” by Chao Planoy (เจ้าปลาน้อย), the show stars Namtan Tipnaree & Film Rachanun in lead roles.

Synopsis-

Ai-oon is the disappointing twin of successful and beloved Ob-oom. They aren’t close. On Ob-oom’s wedding night, she takes Ai-oon aside and makes a request of her. Ob-oon and her husband Paul will be going away for their honeymoon and she’ll be leaving something important behind: a lover, May, she hasn’t broken up with—and she wants Ai-oon to do it for her. In the early morning following the wedding, Ai-oon learns that the newlyweds got into an accident. Paul has passed away and Ob-oom is in a coma. When Ai-oon decides to fullfil her sister’s request, she’s shocked to learn that May is both blind and a woman. She finds herself unprepared to complete the task.

Chinese Bromance “Live Surgery Room” is currently streaming on Youku. Adapted from the web novel “Shou Shu Zhi Bo Jian” (手术直播间) by Zhen Xiong Chu Mo (真熊初墨), the show stars Zhang Binbin & Dai Xu as two medical geniuses who get closer while working on the intervention cases in their hospital.

Synopsis-

Zheng Ren is a surgeon who succeeded in achieving his father’s dying wish. With the help of ER director Pan, he joined Haicheng Hospital and took steps forward to save a patient during a Whipple procedure. Zheng Ren devoted everything to being a doctor, and his skills caught the attention of genius doctor Su Yun, who began to study Zheng Ren’s methods. Su Yun comes to accept and admire Zheng Ren as a colleague after witnessing his selflessness when they both signed up for the frontline rescue team after an earthquake. In order to treat a case of conjoined twins with arrhythmia, Zheng Ren and Su Yun join hands to form a team formed by a group of medical professionals that include equipment nurse Xie Yiren, attending physician Lin Yuan (Wei Wei), consulting physician Chang Yue, and German professor Rudolph.

A Man Who Defies the World of BL 3

More stills released for the upcoming sequel “A Man Who Defies the World of BL 3” ahead of its premiere on 23rd April. Starring Inukai Atsuhiro (Mob) in the lead role alongside Yutaro, Ito Asahi, Shiono Akihisa, each reprising their roles from earlier seasons. This season, Mob desperately spends his days resisting the handsome men approaching him and dodging situations that are likely to develop into love.

Gameboys NYC

The cast of the 2020’s classic hit “Gameboys The Series” reunited for the special screening of “Gameboys The Movie” where Idea First Company announced the upcoming sequel “Gameboys NYC” of the hugely popular franchise. The show stars Kokoy de Santos & Elijah Canlas as Gavreel and Cairo in lead roles who will return to reprise their roles, as they navigate life and their relationship between NYC and Bukidnon. The first season was shot using mobile phones, as the cast and crew adhered to the Covid-19 regulations. The format became a huge hit, skyrocketing Kokoy and Elijah into instant stardom.

Boun Noppanut, Santa Pongsapak & Prem Warut Join GMMTV

Studio Wabi Sabi announced significant changes within their company. In an official statement, the company revealed that they will no longer be involved in artist management. Instead, they will solely focus on operating as a content provider. The agency also announced termination of contracts for their popular actors/actress, Noppanut Guntachai (Boun), Pongsapak Udompoch (Santa), Patsit Permpoonsavat (Soodyacht), Samantha Melanie Coates (Sammy), and Panachkorn Rueksiriaree (Stamp). An hour after this announcement, GMMTV welcomed Boun, Prem, and Santa into their fold. Although GMMTV is to yet to make any official posts, Yacht, Sammy, and Stamp have added GMMTV to their Instagram profiles.

In regard to BounPrem’s upcoming project “The Vampire Project”, the said series will be produced by GMMTV, including broadcasting right and everything else related to it. Studio Wabi Sabi will be involved in the production under the direction of GMMTV.

Blossom Campus

Strongberry’s upcoming Korean BL “Blossom Campus” is set to premiere May 16th 2024 on IQIYI, Viki and Gagaoolala. Starring Son Byeong Hoon & Choi Dong Ho, the story focuses on the romance between Minjae from Practical Music and Yoon Chan, a Taekwondo major.
