With quite a few surprises dropping, this week had a head start. We are looking at some anticipated releases and exclusives from unexpected turnouts. Either way, we can’t wait to recount the updates as we talk about their early release!

Uranus 2324

Possibly the most anticipated release this year, “Gap The Series” stars Freen Sarocha & Rebecca Armstrong will make their big screen debut as a GL couple in Velcurve Studio’s upcoming Sci-fi movie “Uranus 2324”. The official poster and teaser are out and the storytelling looks impressive. Directed by James Thanadol, the movie is set to premiere on 4th July, 2024.

Synopsis-

The storyline follows Kath, who returns to Thailand from New York. While visiting her old home, she is forced to relive her painful memories with long-lost lover, Lin. Linlada Sasinpimon was a Thai astronaut stationed at the Uratis space station who reportedly lost contact with NASA. As Kath is assaulted with their memories, she remembers the promise that Lin made-

“No matter how far you are, I will always find you.”

SunsetxVibes

Promotions are in full swing for MosBank’s upcoming office romance “SunsetxVibes”. Adapted from the webnovel “Sunsetxvibes” (เพียงชลาลัย) by Rosesarin_, the show stars Mos Panuwat & Bank Mondop in the lead roles alongside an ensemble casting which includes secondary couples, JJ Rathasat & Fong Bovorn, Lookkaew Kamollak & Anda Anunta. Set to premiere on June 15th, (Uncut) only on iQIYI.

Synopsis-

For as long as he can remember, Salin has been dreaming of one man every full moon, a man who wears traditional Thai clothing. Accompanying his appearance is the scent of night blooming jasmine. As Salin’s eighteenth birthday approaches, the man disappears from his dreams, from his life—entirely without a word. First Note Of Love

Gagaoolala Original “First Note Of Love”, starring Charles Tu (HIStory 4) and Michael Tsang (My Tooth Your Love) releases first-look teaser. The show has been the talk of the town since its inception, but lack of promotions was jarring. Seems like Gagaoolala will be promptly marketing this show in case of an early release.

Synopsis-

Neil is a singer-songwriter who has recently returned to Taiwan. Both talented and charming, he has everything he needs to become a professional singer, except one thing––the nerves to step onto a big stage. In an effort to get over his stage fright, Neil decides to start as a street performer to eventually work his way up. Hai is a loyal but timid fan of Neil’s. One late night, after seeing Neil’s performance, Hai gets on the last bus of the day and is surprised to see Neil get on, too. The bus brakes suddenly, and Hai finds himself in Neil’s arms. When Neil gets off the bus, Hai sees his guitar pick on the floor. And so, Hai and Neil’s lives cross paths as they begin to compose a musical movement of love.

The Sandman Season Two

Avid fans of Neil Gaiman’s queer coded fantasy “The Sandman” can rejoice. Netflix released the first teaser for Season Two alongside announcements about new cast joining the show. Other Endless family members in Season 2 include Adrian Lester as Destiny, Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, and Barry Sloane as The Prodigal. These new names round out the Endless Family which includes Morpheus aka Dream (Tom Sturridge, Kirby as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire and Donna Preston as Despair who will be reprising their roles from Season One.

This was another surprise announcement that we did not expect. Adapted from the Chinese animation ‘Link Click’ (时光代理人), which recently finished airing its second season, Bilibili’s live action adaptation of the popular donghua releases first trailer. Jiang Long, Bi Wenjun, and Bu Guanjin will be playing the main leads, Cheng Shi, Lu Guang & Qiao Ling.

Synopsis-

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, it holds an infinite amount of secrets. These are secrets that only Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang are able to find. In a small shop called “Time Photo Studio,” the two friends provide a special service: using their extraordinary powers that let them enter photographs, they jump into pictures brought to them by clients in order to grant their wishes. Through the eyes of the photographer, they live through the events surrounding the picture and try to decipher how to solve their client’s request.

But every time they jump into a picture, they take a great risk. One wrong move and they could alter the future of the person who took the picture… and possibly countless other events too. So when the events they are forced to live through in these pictures start to become personal, it will take the utmost strength to push their feelings aside and focus on accomplishing the task they were paid to do.

My Idol

From the same team as Strongberry’s “Hold Me (손잡아 줘), “My Idol” stars Lee Eui Seop and Kim Bit in lead roles. A coming-of-age drama with 20 minutes runtime, the project is right now in crowdfunding stage.

Synopsis-

After his father’s funeral, Lee Woosang learns his track team has disbanded. When he returns to being an ordinary student, everything urges him to face reality with worried glances. As Woosang runs with unsteady breaths, he hears Seong Jaemin’s footsteps approaching behind him, offering comfort to his idol.

Happy Ending Series

After sharing hints about his new project, Jeff Satur’s label Studio On Saturn dropped the poster for their first Original Series titled “Happy Ending”. The show is being produced by Jeff Satur. Keep watching this space for further details.

Knock Knock Boys

Gearing up for premiere on 30th May, the highly anticipated romcom “Knock Knock Boys” releases official trailer. A coming-of-age drama starring Seng Wichai (Secret Crush On You), Best Vittawin (Check Out The Series), Nokia Chinnawat, and Jaonine Jiraphat in lead roles, the show also stars “Two Worlds” couple Pak Varayu & Mon Taechin in supporting roles.

Century of Love

Open Label has been consequently releasing fresh stills related to “Daou Offroad New Project”. Titled “Century Of Love Series”, the show stars Daou Pittaya and Offroad Kantapon in lead roles. Directed by Wo Worawit & scripted by Nueng Chawanon, the show will be Daou & Offroad’s second project together as main leads after the recently concluded “Love In Translation”.
