While fan service is an integral part of the Thai BL industry, there are very few BL pairings that live upto the expectations of the avid fans. It could be attributed to the off-the-charts chemistry between them, the camaraderie they share off-screen and the stories they choose. Today, we are talking about few such onscreen BL couples that are on the rise & slowly making their mark!

Winny Thanawin & Satang Kittiphop

Having starred in two successive hits, Winny & Satang are growing popular because of their natural chemistry. First paired together in the 2022 adaptation “My School President” as a supporting couple, they quickly gained tandem because their fiery chemistry was much appreciated. Currently, they are playing the main couple in “We Are Series”. As against the teenage roles they played in “My School President”, their quirky portrayal of university romance is keeping the fans well-fed.

Perth Tanapon & Chimon Wachirawit

Another new pairing that won over the “Hit & Miss” scenario. First paired together in supporting roles in “Never Let Me Go”, they won over fans with their sublime chemistry. They were immediately cast as the main couple in their next project, “Dangerous Romance” and quickly rose to stardom. Their upcoming romance “Perfect10 Liners” is their third project and there will be many more in future!

Great Sapol & Inn Sarin Ronnakiat

Great made his presence known in the 2020 murder mystery “Manner of Death”. His somber chemistry with MD Nutthapong was much appreciated even though they didn’t have a recognizable romance. Currently, paired opposite Inn Sarin Ronnakiat in the romcom “Wandee Goodday”, our adorable couple are making waves with their heartwarming chemistry. Just three episodes in, and we are already in love with this couple.

Aou Thanaboon & Boom Tharatorn

These two are what we call “the One-Show Wonder”. Starting as supporting roles in “Vice Versa”, they quickly rose to stardom because fans enjoyed the slight chemistry they displayed in the penultimate episodes. Banking on this chemistry, Aou & Boom were officially paired as a couple in “Hidden Agenda” in supporting roles. Their rustic camaraderie bought forth catcalls from avid fans who wanted to see them in a leading role. Their dreams were recognized & Aou- Boom are currently playing the third main couple in “We Are Series”. They off-screen interactions are just as cute as their onscreen ones.

Keen Suvijak & Sea Dechchart

GMMTV’s “Only Boo!” might seem like an unserious romance focusing on a teenage boy, Moo who is obsessed with two things- dancing and his crush on Kang. So, why is the show racking in popularity? The freshness of this pairing coupled with their natural chemistry is slowing winning hearts. The storyline encompasses nothing new, but Keen & Sea are adorable together, and we want more!

Milk Pansa & Love Pattranite

First paired as the supporting couple in the 2021 sleeper hit “Bad Buddy”, Milk- Pan fans didn’t rest until they got them the main lead role in the first GL production sponsored by GMMTV. After much delay, the show finally premiered to high expectations and it was as good as anticipated. Milk & Love hit the jackpot with their improved performances & chemistry and we can’t wait to see them again in a new love story!

Jimmy Jitaraphol & Sea Tawinan

Jimmy first became popular for his supporting roles in “Bad Buddy” & “Enchanté”. Paired opposite the rookie, Sea Tawinan, Jimmy made the most of the situation and their fresh chemistry was praiseworthy. Their second venture “Last Twilight” was a rustic adaptation of a heartwarming romance; their somber performances elevated the experience and the show was another instant hit. Sadly, they aren’t starring in any dramas this year, but we can definitely hope to see them together next year in a new love story.

Joong Archen & Dunk Natachai

Raised in Turkey, Joong Archen returned to his motherland to pursue his passion in acting. His handsome looks landed him the main role in “2moons2” where he was paired opposite Nine Kornchid. The couple quickly rose to stardom and became well-known as “J9”. Unfortunately, the pairing didn’t last for long as Nine shifted base to China and became a part of a pop band. Joong then joined GMMTV and was paired opposite the rookie actor, Dunk Natachai in “Star and Sky: Star in My Mind”. The first part of a duology, Joong & Dunk quickly became as popular as J9. They were next cast in the main lead roles in “Hidden Agenda”. Joong’s suave presence coupled with Dunk’s innocent outlook won more fans, and they became a global phenomenon. Currently, they are working on their third project “The Heart Killers”.

Force Jiratchapong & Book Kasidet

First paired in “Enchanté”, which had an ensemble casting, Force & Book made a mark with their formidable presence. They were next paired in the office romcom “A Boss and a Babe”. Their cute chemistry & adorable camaraderie became the talk of the town. Banking on their popularity, they were next cast in the erotic drama “Only Friends” where they riveted the fans with their sensual romance. Their upcoming project “Perfect10 Liners” is a testament of their screen presence and overall ranking.

First Kanaphan & Khaotung Thanawat

First Kanaphan had been successfully starring in BL roles since 2020 (The Shipper & Not Me), the only problem being, he didn’t have a fixed partner. Paired opposite Khaotung in their first project together “The Eclipse”, the stars won hearts with their fiery chemistry & strong on-screen presence. They further won accolades with their mature portrayals in “Moonlight Chicken”. First & Khao were yet again cast as the main couple in “Only Friends” and despite being a part of the ensemble casting, their renditions were shockingly impressive. Currently, working on their fourth project “The Heart Killers”, we can only expect wonders from this couple!

Gemini Norawit & Fourth Nattawat

Gemini & Fourth first made their mark with the 2022 adaptation “My School President”. Their refreshing chemistry paired with their adorable looks made the show an instant hit. So much so, that they were paired again in “Moonlight Chicken”. Their new project “My Love Mix-Up!” is set to premiere next month, and we can look forward to watching some heartwarming romance between our sweet couple.

Pond Naravit & Phuwin Tangsakyuen

The current favorites in the GMMTV camp, Pond- Phuwin were first paired together in 2021 adaptation “Fish Upon the Sky”. Despite the lukewarm response received by the show, it skyrocketed Pond & Phuwin’s status as a bankable couple. They were next paired in the mafia romance “Never Let Me Go” which further cemented their position. Currently, they are portraying the main lead couple in “We Are Series” and we are seriously enamored with their reckoning chemistry!
