The Vacation in Koh Samui

Following the huge success of the Korean BL,

“Unintentional Love Story” and the recently released sequel “The Time of Fever”, the stars are in huge demand. Banking on this favourable outcome, the stars Cha Seo Won, B1A4’s Gongchan, Won Tae Min, and Do Woo will be featured in a travel show titled “The Vacation in Koh Samui”. Set to premiere on August 1 on Watcha.

Long Lee Shi & Frank Thanatsaran Decide to Part Ways

Onscreen couple Long Lee Shi & Frank Thanatsaran have decided to part ways due to differences of opinions. Frank took to X to explain the reasons behind their decision. They starred together in “Love Syndrome 3”, “Crazy Handsome Rich” and the recently concluded “Omg Vampire”.

Love Sick The Series

Starring Almond Poomsuwan and Progress Passawish in lead role, the remake of yesteryear’s hit, “Love Sick 2024” is set to premiere in September. The show focuses on the romance between Noh, the president of the music club, and Phun, the student council vice president.

Yoon Phusanu and Top Piyawat will reportedly set to star in Ideo Entertainment’s “P.S.You” as Chen Bao & Nice alongside Sittiporn Phinyachote (Touch), Suphaksin Vijitweroj (Lease), Thanawin Duangnet (Mawin) & Narukhom Sirijirakul (Keng).

Heartstopper Season Three

Netflix has unveiled a short teaser for Heartstopper Season Three. Starring Kit Connor & Joe Locke in the lead roles alongside Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell & Tobie Donovan, the sequel is set to premiere on Netflix on 3rd October. In Season 3, Nick and Charlie’s relationship deepens and our favorites will face their biggest emotional challenges yet.

Love Is Like A Poison

Based on the novel written by Keisuke Makino, “Love Is Like A Poison” depicts the story of a genius lawyer, Ryoma Shiba, and a genius fraudster, Haruto, who become business partners and live together. A legal suspense BL in which Shiba, a beginner in romance, falls in love with Haruto, who is sweet and devoted to Shiba even if he puts himself in danger. Starring Hama Shogo & Hyodo Katsumi in lead roles, the show is set to premiere on Sep 17 on Netflix.

The Loyal Pin

Idol Factory releases official trailer for their upcoming Thai GL, “The Loyal Pin”. Adapted from the novel “Pin Phak” (ปิ่นภักดิ์) by Mon Maew (ม่อนแมว), the adaptation stars Rebecca Armstrong as Princess Anilaphat and Freen Sarocha as Lady Pin. Streaming from 4th August on Idol Factory YouTube.

Synopsis-

‘The Loyal Pin’ revolves around the story of the prim and proper Lady Pin and the naughty but charmingly lovely Princess Anilaphat. The two are brought together by fate and have since grown up together. Will they grow feelings for each other, too?

Eternal Butler

VBL releases couple posters for “Eternal Butler”, the sequel to Anti-Reset. The show stars Kevin Chang, Sing Hom in lead roles alongside Eden Chen, and Lawrence Lo in supporting roles.

Synopsis-

The story happened after the departure of Ever 9, who fell in love with a human. The leader of the Ever series, Ever 4, in order to fight for his rights as an AI, was sent to the Luo family as a deacon and bodyguard. Facing the rebellious young master of the family, Luo Bu Shi, how can Ever 4, who is used to being in control, keep his young master in line?

Due to his family’s financial situation, Lin Jia Qian worked at construction sites and delivery during school breaks, as well as at a cafe during holidays. Fresh stills released for Japanese adaptation “Sugar Dog Life”. Starring Tawada Hideya and Tanaka Koki, premieres on August 3. Sakuraba, a college student with a baby face, is mistaken as a minor by police officer Amazawa, but they soon form an odd relationship.

The Paradise of Thorns

After releasing the official trailer for “The Paradise of Thorns” in their lineup event last week, GDH is actively promoting the movie. Official poster alongside fresh stills were released for the upcoming film starring Jeff Satur & Engfa Waraha in lead roles. Directed by Boss Naruebet, the movie is set to premiere on 22nd August in theaters.

Synopsis-

Thongkham and Sek, a devoted gay couple, have worked tirelessly to build a life together, including owning a house and a durian orchard in Mae Hong Son. Tragedy strikes when Sek dies suddenly in an accident, revealing that they were never legally married in Thailand, leaving Thongkham with no rights to their assets. The house and orchard now belong to Sek’s mother, who moves in with her adopted daughter Mo and gardener Jingna. Thongkham must now fight to reclaim the fruits of his love and labor.

  1. PARADISE OF THORNS will make its North American debut at the Toronto Film Festival this fall. I’m sure part of the discussion surrounding the film’s release will be Thailand’s passage of the country’s Marriage Equality Act earlier this summer.
