Japanese GL adaptation “Ayaka Is In Love With Hiroko” will be returning for Season Two. Adapted from the web manga series “Ayaka Is in Love X Love X Love with Hiroko”(彩香ちゃんは弘子先輩に恋してる) by Sal Jiang (サルチャン), Kato Shiho & Mori Kanna will be reprising their roles from Season One.

Synopsis-

Ayaka (Kato Shiho) is in love with Hiroko (Mori Kanna), a senior at the same company. Each of them thought that the other person was straight, but as a result of Ayaka’s reckless advances, both are dating now!

A year has passed since then. Ayaka has come to live in Hiroko’s house, and they have started living together. Hiroko, who cares for Ayaka so much, has sworn to herself that she will never make a move on her easily so as not to hurt her, and is in super doting mode!

We have fresh updates about the upcoming GL adaptation, “Player Yuri Series”. Based on the novel by Sixnine Yuri, the show stars Ice Amena & Memi Muanfun as main leads alongside Ningning Marika & Grace Harper. The show will have 12 episodes, filming begins this month and the premiere date is set for 2025.

Recent Controversy Surrounding the Korean Lesbian Dating Show, “To Get Her”

Last week, the lesbian version of the Korea dating show “To Get Her” premiered to high expectations, whilst introducing the first seven contestants. As the production house posted pictures of individual contestants on their social media, a huge controversy suddenly erupted. Contestant, Kim Riwon has been at the center of this controversy, with a man exposing her past life as a camgirl and reiterating that she had previous relationships with men.

In a post on her social media, Kim Riwon clarified that she did produce adult content in the past, regrets her actions and solely identifies as a woman who likes women. Her first love was a girl but in a state of confusion, she dated men, one of whom blackmailed, stalked and abused her. She joined the show to come out on her own to her family and acquaintances.

In response to her post, another contestant Jun Han Kyul who was supposedly close to Riwon during the shoot posted messages claiming that Riwon had tried to arrange an inappropriate dinner date for her, while using her sexual orientation as a pretext to lure people in the adult industry. Riwon denied the allegations on her social media.

The production house have issued a statement, clarifying the situation, stating that they didn’t recruit contestants through inappropriate channels.
