What do you do when there are so many fabulous BL series happening at the same time? Every day becomes a lazy couch potato day.
Seriously, though, Saturdays have so many great series currently airing. My favorite is probably “Khemjira” still, but “Revamp” is fun, and “The Wicked Game” has now started. I may or may not have spent all of yesterday on the couch.
Last week was pretty hectic with huge announcements and exclusives dropping left & right. From new premieres to early bird releases, the BL/GL is brimming with excitement. Some of the most anticipated shows are in making, and we are dying to share the scoop!
Every year, lots of BL series are released, in which some touch our hearts and some we just enjoy as a one-time watch, but what we all for sure focus on in each of these series is the OST. If a series has a background score that captures viewers’ hearts, that series has 70% chance of becoming a hit series. Here are my top 5 favorite BL series OST that I can listen to on loop all day, any day:
Age has a tendency to make people more afraid of choices. I think a lot of that has to do with overthinking everything that could go wrong when you’ve already been through years of trying to figure life out day by day. As a woman in my forties, I certainly overthink things way more than I used to in my twenties. And the same goes for Suzume in the Japanese BL 10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40 (adapted from the manga 40 Made ni Shitai 10 no Koto by Mamita).

The best way to describe this series is to define it in terms of a psychological disorder. It is schizophrenic. It has all the symptoms of this condition. It is befuddling, full of mood swings, capricious, shows severe personality changes, weird periods of agitation with obvious emotional disorders as well, and psychological instability throughout. I could go on, but you get the point. It is not tethered to thinking, operating, or behaving clearly. The story is an incoherent mess yet sometimes just a lot of fun to watch. It was entertaining for some time but then lost its direction in the end as it did not seem to know how to conclude the story.
We often make love more complicated than love actually is. Love is more than an emotion, it’s a deep look at ourselves.
