GMMTV’s attempts to quantify their queer production is indeed praiseworthy. But can quantification guarantee quality as well? With 32 dramas up for production next year and quite a few from the 2025 Lineup, time management will be a big problem. Also, they have been recruiting new talents big time, but can they successfully manage these many artists and create new content for all of them? That remains to be seen!

After starring in successful projects like “23.5”, “Whale Store xoxo” and the upcoming “Girl Rules”, this will be Love Pattranite & Milk Pansa’s fourth project together. Diehard fans can very much expect a breezy performance and an awesome chemistry!

I knew GMMTV has been recruiting new talents, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw the all new casting for this show. I haven’t seen any of these actresses before, especially the main leads Fond Natticha & Pahn Pathitta. So we can very well reserve our comments regarding their performance, once the show airs!

Another show with entirely fresh star cast which includes Waifha Chanitsiri, Tonkhaw Nonthakarn, Benz Jittanan, Yoghurt Yosita & Pang Sabsima Payakharn, so we can’t comment much about it. Just hoping that these rookie actresses make their mark!

Roommate Chaos

This show has an ensemble casting. After leading the comedy “Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist” which tanked horribly, this show might be Mark Pakin & Ohm Thipakorn’s last saving grace. If they don’t bring in numbers, their pairing might be officially over. The show also stars two other couples, namely Surf Patchara & Java Bhobdhama who made their debut with the currently on-air “Head 2 Head” alongside Save Saisawat & Franc Naruth who recently made their mark in “My Magic Prophecy”.

Another ensemble casting, I’m slightly disappointed that the lead pairs in this show didn’t get their own shows this time. Adapted from the web novels “Replay 1: Captain Plawan” (Replay 1 : กัปตันปลาวาฬ), “Replay 2: Doctor Songkran” (Replay 2 : คุณหมอสงกรานต์), and “Replay 3: God JJ” (Replay 3 : เทพเจ้าเจเจ) by Shernara (เฌอนารา), the show stars Tay Tawan & New Thitipoom, Pond Naravit & Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Joss Way-ar & Fluke Gawin. But since the show is based on three different novels, it’s quite possible that it may follow the same format as “Perfect 10 Liners” and feature each pair in an 8-10 episodes storyline.

Synopsis–

At the worst moment of their lives, three friends mysteriously find themselves sent back to the past. As they try to change their fate, they trigger unexpected consequences.

The Love of Siam — THE MUSICAL

Though we didn’t get a proper trailer for this show (which was actually announced last year), the main leads were introduced in a skit play performance. Gemini Norawit & Fourth Nattawat will be leading this project, which is a remake of the 2007 hit movie “The Love of Siam”.

Synopsis–

Love of Siam shows the relationship between a weak family, a lonely girl, and teenagers who start to know the meaning of love and friendship that will remain in their memory forever.

The story begins when old friends Tong and Mew meet by chance at Siam, a well-known place where teenagers in Bangkok hang out. Tong is a popular and handsome boy who is bored with his pretty girlfriend like Donut. Tong just discovers that a pretty girlfriend is not the answer to something in his life. While Mew is a quiet guy, who is obsessed with music and secretly loved by Ying, a girl next door. Mew is facing a hard time trying to compose love songs after his grandma dies.

Later, Mew introduces Tong to June, a girl who looks alike Tong’s lost sister. Tong comes up with a plan for his mother to hire June to be his sister, hoping to cure his father of alcoholism. June accepts the offer and becomes a part of Tong’s family. Everything in Tong’s family seems to have become better since June’s arrival. June is loved by Tong’s family, but she begins to question if what she is doing is right.
