After watching Season Two, you are left with the question: why you need a sequel for this disaster??
Season Two begins from where the prequel ended. Hae Jun and Jae Hun are now living together, in a house that is styled in a characteristic “Hallmark” fashion. It makes you wonder if this is their new kink or if Christmas is around the corner. Jae Hun is still dominant and arrogant while Hae Jun is busy trying to figure out why his artwork doesn’t seem inspiring anymore. In the midst of this turmoil, we have the breezy addition of a new antagonist, Kang Su Hyeok. He is Jae Hun’s childhood friend; quite broody, mysterious and good-looking. Jae Hun dislikes him, and yet they have their own clandestine tea meetings like old ladies meeting for quick gossip. The production value is still the same, the storytelling is awful, but this season, we do have some character development!!
The Storyline & Chemistry-

Kim Hae Jun (Kim Hyeon Seo) is having a hard time honing his art skills after moving in permanently with his wealthy boyfriend, Han Jae Hun (Jung Myeong Cheol). Their happy coexistence is threatened when Jae Hun’s childhood friend, Kang Su Hyeok (Kwak Geon Hee). He is as rich as Jae Hun, knows his dark secrets, and they are always at loggerheads. Under the guise of a “best friend,” he methodically uncovers Jae Hun’s hidden past, driving a wedge between Jae Hun & Hae Jun. At first, it seems like he is doing it for Jae Hun’s so- called fiancée. But later, it is revealed that he is doing so because of his close friend, Yoon Minwoo who likes Jae Hun. He periodically brainwashed Hae Jun, so he would break up with Jae Hun. Unfortunately, their plans are foiled because Hae Jun accepts Jae Hun’s flaws and his obsessive tendencies. Moreover, Jae Hun also rejects Minwoo’s confessions repeatedly. In the end, Jae Hun & Hae Jun emerge stronger as a couple!!
Jung Myeong Cheol & Kim Hyeon Seo still suffer from a lack of chemistry. Their kissing and NC scenes still seem quite uncomfortable. At times, Jae Hun loses control and inflicts pain on Hae Jun. Those NC scenes are very unconvincing. Jung Myeong Cheol still carries the weight of those NC single-handedly while trying to drive the narrative forward. It is jarring and, at times, quite poorly executed.
Final Impressions

The only saving grace of this awful show was Kwak Geon Hee. His Kang Su Hyeok was deliciously mischievous!!
Kang Su Hyeok spends a major portion of his time, drinking wine and scheming against Jae Hun. Initially, it seems like they are rivals and he is seeking revenge. But midway, it becomes clear that their close friend, Yoon Minwoo, likes Jae Hun and, as such, Su Hyeok does everything to separate Hae Jun from Jae Hun. His plotting and scheming are entertaining, to say the least. Rest, there is nothing worth mentioning in this show. The drama railroads even worse than last season!!
