We had a power packed week filled with surprising announcements. As we proceed into the next week, awaiting the “GMMTV 2025 Lineup” scheduled for 26th November, the anticipation is feverishly high. We are raking in the BL/GL moolah.

“Reverse 4 You” Series Review (Ep.4 to 8)
“Reverse 4 You” is an interesting take on “star-crossed lovers” who have to overcome their fate and find a way to be together, not just with each other, but with their loved ones. I believe that the show would have benefitted from telling stories of Jattawa (Mae Methakarn Anektanasuwan), Vivi (Manao Natnicha Polsombat) and Four’s (Christine Gulasatree Michalsky) past and/or alternative lives to drive the story and add tension, instead of following just one timeline, because it left the ending feeling too rushed and the pay off was lacking because some crucial things were not explained or dealt with. With enough care and thought, this could have been a very compelling series, but it because boring very quickly due to the writers focusing on all the wrong aspects of it.

The last week was lit with fiery updates, announcements and lineup bookings. We got exclusives pouring in from all quarters. It seems the upcoming new year will see the broadcast of quite a few intriguing and riveting stories from the Asian subcontinent.

While MewTul fans are rejoicing over their engagement, we were stuck with some pleasant surprises from all quarters. There were loads of updates from the Thai BL industry, as well as their Taiwanese & Japanese counterparts. Joining the excitement surrounding MewTul’s engagement, we are in the long haul for some intriguing exclusives lined up for the upcoming months!

We haven’t had a single moment to rest with the BL industry churning out more shows/dramas than we could catch up with. While the downpour doesn’t seem to cease for now, let’s catch up with upcoming Asian BLs/GLs on the block!
Our Favorite Asian GLs So Far (2024)
2024 was surprisingly the “Year of GLs”. From a few succinct shows like “Gap The Series” & “Fragrance of the First Flower” which made their mark on the international platforms, we didn’t have any sapphic representation before. The tables have turned, with several prominent releases this year, and we have new fandoms coming into existence, more couples gaining traction.
