Manga Review: The Red Thread – Volume 1
Until We Meet Again is one of those staple series in the BL genre. It’s unwavering promise that true love does conquer all, even when everything seems hopeless, and that not even death can stop it is powerful, to say the least. It’s just incredible. Recently, I was lucky enough to interview the author LazySheep and one of the things we talked about was the upcoming release of the first volume of English translation of the manga.

When it comes to the wonderful world of BL dramas Until We Meet Again is one of the staples of the genre. Based on the novel The Red Thread by Lazysheep, it’s an epic romance that transcends time, intergenerational prejudice, and even death itself to prove that true love really does conquer all.
“Absolute Zero” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)
Studio Wabi Sabi’s new adaptation “Absolute Zero” premiered on IQIYI last week to high expectations; depicting the story of Ongsa and his boyfriend Suansoon on altering time-lines. Their relationship begins during their high school days and a decade later, they are still going strong. But an accident occurs Ongsa’s birthday that incurs a crack in their fates.

“Of an Age” Movie Review
This coming-of-age story is such a universal and yet unique story at the same time, that it’s both widely relatable and yet also such a personal story. “Of an Age” gives us a window into the story of Kol, (Elias Anton) a recent high school graduate and amateur dancer, who experiences his first intense romantic, sexual awakening in the space of 24 hours with his friend Ebony’s (Hattie Hook) older brother Adam (Thom Green).
“Crazy Handsome Rich” Series Review (Ep.3 to 6)
This was a tough series to watch due to the dreadful dubbing, but I held out and was pleasantly surprised with how cute and funny it was. The actors are amazing, it’s just that they were dealt with a bad scripts and direction. Frank Thanatsaran looked awful with the fake wig. With this kind of talent on hands, I was disappointed in the overall ambience of the show.

“Hidden Agenda” Series Review (Ep.3 to 12)
Hidden Agenda is a Thai BL starring Joong Archen as Joke and Dunk Natachai as Zo in a college based romantic story between both. To finally take action to resolve his long time crush on Nita, Zo leans towards Nita’s ex, Joke for help. Joke agrees to help him on one condition, which is to get him a place in the debate club, of which Zo is already a member.
“Love of the Sea” Series Review (Ep.1 & 2)

“Be Mine SuperStar” Series Review (Ep.1 to 12)
If you spend more than a nanosecond of time analyzing this series, you will find it so logically implausible with the story so full of holes that literally makes no sense, it will make your head spin. But if you watch it merely for pure entertainment value and put yourself on the couch with ‘Grandma’ and watch it as a Soap Opera, you will love it. I loved it, so I guess I sat next to Grandma. (You will get the reference if you watch the series. I do wish she had a bigger role. She was so entertaining). In general, there are two main characters, two more or less minor characters, and a slew of supporting characters, one of whom really steals the series, while others should have been written out of the series or actually never written in.
