A love so deep that it transcends beyond death!!
Transmigration after death seems to be the current favor of the season. So, Thai author Mame Orawan couldn’t be trending behind when there is no shortage of such justified tropes. Most of her BL novels have already been adapted into live-action adaptations. So, she is seeking something new with Me Mind Y’s first GL production, “Love beyond Dreams.” The story is quite basic, unrequited and unfilled love blooming in the midst of possible homophobia and murder suspicion. This show has some distinct “Manner of Death” & “Petrichor” vibes. The murder mystery is intriguing, the people involved are riveting, and the main leads have a palpable chemistry. This is Aya Orapan & Mie Phattaranan’s first project as main leads. Aya was previously paired opposite Chanya Amarit in “Love Sea The Series”. Mie acted as an antagonist in “I’m Your Moon.” The pairing is quite charismatic. Honestly, I’m impressed!!
Storyline & Chemistry-

Twenty-one-year-old fresh graduate Aran (Aya Orapan) has spend years crushing after her senior, Ledarin/ Lene (Mie Phattaranan). It is obvious from their interactions that the crush isn’t one-sided. Lene has similar feelings for Aran as well. Believing that their feelings are mutual, Aran kisses Lene on her graduation day. Unfortunately, Lene loses her calm, rejects Aran’s confession and breaks off all ties with her. Heartbroken, Aran leaves to study abroad. Five years, Aran receives a mysterious package arrives along with a handwritten letter. There is no name, but Aran recognizes the handwriting instantly. She decides to fly back to Thailand, determined to finally close this unresolved chapter. At the same time, in Thailand, Lene is being chased by unknown assailants and ends up killed. Aran arrives at her funeral and is devastated by the news of Lene’s death. The same night, she hears Lene’s bodyguard talking to a suspicious guy and realizes that Lene was murdered. Surprisingly, she is killed as well and wakes up five years in the past, to the moments after her rejection, red thread from the funeral still in hand. Aran resolutely decides that that this time she would save Lene at all costs.
She travels abroad for her studies and returns home five years later. To safeguard Lene, she joins her company as her personal bodyguard. Lene is known for her ruthless behavior and most employees are terrified of her. She is shocked to meet Aran again and tries her level best to dissuade Aran from becoming her secretary. But Aran isn’t deterred, determined to protect her lost love. Mie & Aya have an awesome chemistry, their comfort levels are better. The budding romance is bittersweet!
First Impressions

There are many external factors involved in this murder mystery that make the show intriguing!!
Fluke Pongsapat plays Lene’s bodyguard Peem. On the surface, he seems jovial and has a good relationship with Lene. She trusted him implicitly, but he was the one who conspired to kill her. Boss Chaikamon plays the role of Dean and is most possibly the main antagonist. It is my first time watching both these actors play antagonistic characters, so I’m pretty invested in their reasons for killing Lene. Watch this show if you are seeking a murder mystery with GL tones!!
