“Crazy Love, Moo Moo!” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

BossNoeul in a romantic comedy!!

Give me more!!

I was quite unaware of the premise of this show, until I watched the first episode and realized that BossNoeul are ACTUALLY acting in a comic role. Starring Boss Chaikamon & Noeul Nuttarat in lead roles, “Crazy Love, Moo Moo!” is absolutely loud, chaotic and messy. The dynamics between the main leads and the supporting characters is an added advantage. You can’t help but laugh at their weird hysterics and Boss stuns you in a role that is far-fetched from the domineering characters he has played so far. Noeul literally plays into the “Damsel in Distress” persona, waiting to be rescued from his pursuer, who won’t stop no matter what. There is nothing deep or conniving about the storyline. It basically revolves around three siblings and their individual love affairs. So, spend your weekend with this motley group who will keep you invested and entertained!!

Storyline & Chemistry-

Fu Tong/Fak (Boss Chaikamon), the eldest son of a Chinese-Thai family in Kanchanaburi, is hopelessly in love with his younger brother, Tai’s (Turbo Chanokchon) best friend, Moo (Noeul Nuttarat). Moo was raised in a household full of fair-skinned Chinese guys like him and, as such, he doesn’t want to date men who look like them. Fu has been talking to an unknown person on the app and he has feelings for him instead, although that person has made it clear that he likes someone else. So, Fu continues pursuing Moo, who keeps rejecting his advances. There is abundant chemistry between them, but Moo chooses to ignore it, simply because Fu isn’t his type. They keep getting into ridiculous situations where Fu tries to sell himself as the best choice, but Moo refuses to accept him. On the other hand, Tai meets Yu (Noh Phouluang) who works as a barista in the daytime and as a bartender at night. Yu is instantly attracted to Tai, who remains oblivious to his affections. Although he doesn’t approve his elder brother’s constant stalking, Tai spends an awful amount of time protecting Moo as well. Fu’s youngest brother, Tee (Poom Wachirapanya) is an absolute menace but Fu dotes on him. Tee is quite popular at school and when the new transfer Jaeb (Effect Narawit) joins their class, he becomes Tee’s new target.

First Impressions

There are no ways to Fu’s conviction, even if Moo rejects him on a daily basis!!

The guy is quite rich. Unlike most typical rich men who spend their time in boardrooms amassing a fortune, Fu prefers tailing Moo instead (makes you wonder how his hotel hasn’t gone under yet). He is indeed handsome, has good looks and is filthy rich. But none of these qualities attract Moo, they just seem to frustrate him. Boss’s ridiculous candor is a welcome change from his straight-faced character roles in the past. Noeul matches his tempo and the show is a laughter riot!!
