“Be Mine, Superstar” First Impressions (Ep.1 to 3)

JaFirst is one of my favorite BL Ships. I enjoyed their characters of Leo and Fiat in TharnType: 7 Years in Love – and I loved them even more in their spin-off series Don’t Say No and though they were part of an ensemble cast, Remember Me was a masterpiece.

“Hidden Agenda” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

Hidden Agenda is a typical varsity based love story between Joke (Joong Archen) and Zoo (Dunk Natachai). Zo has a crush on Nita, a fellow student who is Joke’s ex-girlfriend. To woo Nita, Zo’s friends advise Zo to ask Joke for help in winning his ex-girlfriend’s heart. After watching the first two episodes, I found the plot to be a bit similar to another on-air GMMTV series, Be My Favorite. The main lead has a crush on a fellow student and seeks the help of a handsome guy who is either the ex of the girl they have a crush on or the person the girl has a crush on.

“House of Stars” Series Review (Ep.3 to 12)

A multimillion baht house with beautiful actors working for the same company, thriving on the drama they can create in each other’s lives, is the setting for “House of Stars”. The show is a twelve episode drama surrounding the residents of the house, all of whom follow the strict house rules only when it suits them. The series moves like a spider interconnecting the characters like flies to the web of need that the house owner Miss Susie (Rudklao Amratisha) weaves. Offering rewards like fame, money, opportunities and access to the other actors for sex of romance (passively, as she has hidden cameras everywhere in the house and uses them to manipulate the actors).

A shy young man bumps into a complete stranger who experiences love at first sight. The object of his affection is someone experiencing years of pain and disappointment of the most callous kind. Maybe it’s time for a Seme (who seems like a dinosaur) to step in and shake things up. That’s the premise for “Dinosaur Love”, a BL based on the novel of the same name by Scriper; created by Ultimate Troop as Part One of their compilation stories in “Buddy Line Y Animal”.

“Be My Favorite” First Impressions (Ep.1 to 3)

Premiering on May 26th, 2023, the time traveling romance “Be My Favorite” which is the story of a shy man named Kawi (Krist Perawat) who is in love with his ideal woman, Pear (Aye Sarunchana) seems at best a star crossed love story. But that is probably more due to his inability to think positive of himself. Next to them is Pisaeng (Fluke Gawin), a popular athlete who Pear secretly holds a torch for. When Kawi is chosen to be Pear’s secret buddy, he uses the role as a means to romance her. But due to circumstances out of his control, he misses his chance. An act of kindness grants him the ability to travel back and forth through time, to fix things, but can he, or is fate moving as its own pace?
